PS3 Trouble Running PS2 Games on Evilnat 4.89

Hi i recently bought a cfw compatible PS3 Slim and mostly wanted to run game backups via hard drive, PS1 games run perfect but its not do with PS2. I am a Star Wars superfan so naturally I wanted to play 2005's Battlefront II, other PS2 games (Star Wars: The Clone Wars) have worked well enough, but when i launch BFII through webman the game loaded fine and so i opened instant action and started a game of conquest on Coroscant. after 30 seconds of gameplay my PS3 froze requiring be to reboot. I hope I was clear enough and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Configs are required for some PS2 games. Luckily, both of these games have configs that fix their issues.

Are you using WebMAN MOD to play these games? If so, you can download the PS2CONFIG package from here: https://store.brewology.com/ahomebrew.php?brewid=310

It is a collection of all of the current config files needed to run certain games. It will automatically launch the game with the correct config if you have the "auto config" enabled in the WebMAN MOD settings.

I'm not sure this helped, installed game configs but now as soon as map loads my game freezes. Is this supposed to happen?

I found the solution: make sure your files have the game ID in filename. I feel really stupid after spending all this time, lol! Anyways thanks to @mrjaredbeta !
