Sorry if this thread is in the wrong section.

So I've got PS2 games loaded and the daily build of OPL. However I keep seeing these methods of installing them over a network. The adapter I have that has sata doesn't have a working ethernet port. It's a GameStar sata adapter for PS2.

The videos I find on Youtube show some kind of network setup to transfer the PS1 games. Is there a way to transfer the PS1 games using a hard drive dock like you do with PS2 games?

PS2 games in form of disc images are written as partitions, and because of that have dedicated software to.

PSX games in form of disc images to be used by POPS/POPS Starter or PS2PSXe are written in PFS file system space, so they don't need any special software besides application which will handle PFS - so use PFS Shell (it is CLI app, and do not use any GUI for it because all are unstable and full of bugs which can cause a fs damages).

Ok from my understanding, they have to be in VCD format. How do I transfer them to the partition I made for them?

PFS Shell is not a tool for "managing PS2 and PS1 games" but managing all data on partitions with PFS file system.

And I strongly recommending to use CLI version instead of any GUI, because unfortunately they are bugged and You can end with broken partition as once @Haker120. ;)

Yes, I transfered two PS1 games that way and they aren't loading. I used the GUI to transfer to PS1 games.

I have all the POPS files in their correct space.
