I'm trying to play Guitar Hero 3 via OpenPS2Loader's SMB but I keep running into this issue. When I start to play any song, either immediately or shortly after the note highway comes up, the game halts with the "Please Reconnect Controller" message despite both controllers being connected fine. No matter what I do I cannot get the message to close, as far as I can tell it's stuck until I reset the console.

A couple of other details:
• I tried replugging the guitar controller, as well as plugging in a dualshock into port 1 and 2. I pressed all the buttons on both controllers. The game acknowledges nothing.
• The pause screen is still animating in the background which means the game has not crashed.
• I'm using FunTuna to run OPL on a slim 90001.
• GH1, GH2, and GH2 Deluxe run flawlessly on my setup so I do not believe it is a problem with my PC or the network connection.
• Yes I know Clone Hero is a thing, however I currently do not have any means of connecting any of my guitars to my PC.
