PS3 HAN [Tutorial] How to install PS3 Backup Games (Converted) on PS3 with HAN

Just wanted to say thank you for this guide!
Of course signing the PKGs should probably be included in the end (even if it's obvious).

usually all Disc games having LIC.DAT and LICDIR there
so if you are trying to do an (already PKG PSN Game) you don't have to do all this , just resign pkg and its rap file and then install with HAN :D

Are there simplier ways to split my (already PKG psn games)?
Hopefully a tool will be created in the future to do this automatically for us HAN users
Edit: Meaning my psn pkg games that are larger then 4gb of course.

It should install fine 95% of the times
But some 5% of times edat MIGHT need resigning. I never came across such instance but it could occur
 
Dude i dont know if you can help me.
The thing is, i downloaded asuras wrath, i converted it with CFW2OFW, it worked well and i got the a folder named NPEB01227, then i moved the folder to the make_pkg_bat_master, started making it and i got 2 pkg, the game and 1 lic, like you said on your tutorial. I moved them to pkg linker, i installed first the game, all fine, but when i try to install the lic it says that the update i want to install doesn exist the software on my ps3. Do you know da wey? Na just kiddind do you know what could happend?

EDIT: If i enable debug mod, then i cant install the game

Most are at around 20gb mark
Actually it shouldn't take more than 10 minutes on a decent pc. Use ssd and it will be quite fast since the bottleneck for retail pkg is hdd in most cases
 
i have problems with tales of vesperia :
BLJS10053 is not compatible, but this could be untrue, because there was an
error detected while parsing the update entry:
Falta el elemento raíz. // missing element in the root

Any ideas to solve this problem?
 
when i install a game coverted on cfw2ofw the another installed games dont working "error 80029517" i have enabled hen.
what happened?
 
When I install the necessary pkg to start the game on ps3, when I want to start it jumps me error that I have to insert disk to play the game
 
I want to ask question , is it possible to create cfw2ofw without update ? Because i want to play some game but doesn't have an update [emoji23]

Most games with a lot of pre-baked cutscenes exceed the 20GB mark. The most notable are the boring Naugty Dog games, tons of cutscenes, so you get 32 GB size downloads. What a turd.

On disc that is, seperate pkgs actually don't exceed 20gb mark such as uncharted if I remember correctly

But either way, it doesn't really change alot
