Twitch/Facebook streams on PS3

Hello, I have a great unit of PS3 slim with CFW. My Smart TV kinda sucks and I'm curious if PS3 could handle some media play.
By media play I mean Twitch & Facebook streams mostly, netflix & YT is on Smart TV. The Twitch app for PS3 no longer works, movian twitch plugin same. Nothing found for Facebook streams. Web browser same.
Will Linux OtherOS handle media play? Don't want to waste time trying installing Linux and then get dissapointed. Maybe some app that I didn't found? Been searching for a long time.

I was unaware that the Movian Twitch plugin no longer works, but I am aware that the official Twitch app is no longer supported on the PS3.

There is no Facebook app for the PS3 as far as I'm aware, and as for Linux on PS3 - I don't think media play is possible since OtherOS is unable to harness the RSX (GPU) of the PS3. I'm not 100% on this, but reasonably sure this is the case; others more familiar with it may be able to confirm.
