Try this first. If it still does not work then download the Rebug 999 downgrader. Once the installation is complete, install rebug toolbox or QA toggler, enable it and install rebug 3.55 CFW. After this, you can update to any CFW of your choice.

no you dont understand this logo changing and everything is a commercial the logo is my country flag and the number beneath it is his phone number mabe hes thinking he created something that cannot be done or in his country atleast
 
You can't just spoof 4.82 to 4.86 unless you are 100% positive that you are on DEX...

I use D-REX 4.84.2 and I don't do spoofs... because like I said, webMAN does the spoof for me and I don't care to spoof, honestly...

First you wanted to update your CFW to a higher version, now you are saying you just want to spoof but it probably won't work.

Also, you have to understand that when you "spoof" you are still on 4.82, only that it's disguised as 4.86

and 4.82 CEX will probably get banned if you take it online, even after spoofing... 4.82 DEX will not get banned.

Lastly, without knowing what CFW you are running (REBUG, Ferrox, ITA, Darknet, Habib's, STARBUGED, etc.) we can't really help

Final version released for ITA is 4.55, Darknet & Habib was 4.81 and I don't think STARBUGED was a thing until 4.84

I can't find any newer versions of the CFW's in the line above, so that narrows it down to you having FERROX or REBUG.

Watch the entire video, downgrader probably didn't work for you because your PS3's SYSCON still believes that it's FW is 9.99

Make sure your PS3 can downgrade to 3.55 or lower before you do this, otherwise it might brick the console.

no i didnt even try the downgrader because im a noob in cfw and i can make some mistakes and screw my ps3 up.
and i think the cfw i have is a modified ferrox cause i have ferrox mod installer on my hdd and ive never placed it there also i cant run rebug toolbox without crashing it so im 75% sure that im on ferrox.
my ps3 model is a slim CHECH 2103B if thats whats your asking me to verify.
thank you all for all the help without your help i would've probbably just wathed a video on youtube and screwed everything up

I understand, this must be very frustrating... You will not be able to "upgrade" unless you downgrade to 3.55 first because of that "9.99"

You have 2 options, successfully downgrade to 3.55 and re-upgrade to 4.86.1 LITE.

Rebug Toolbox will work on your PS3 if you can manage to get rid of Ferrox. (Because my friend had the same kind of problems with it)

The other option is simple... just do the spoof. Use custom spoof to set yourself to 4.86, disable syscalls and log on.

I could be wrong about 4.82 CEX, it might be able to go online BUT IT HAS TO BE PROPERLY SPOOFED.

I was only trying to give you the best results, thank you for taking the time to listen. You will figure it out...

If speaking in your language would make this any easier, then speak your language but remember to include an english translation, please.

well as long as you can understand me its fine.
if you mean by getting rid of ferrox to uninstall the ferrox mod installer its not even installed its just whenever i go to install pkg from hdd it popup and i cant find it on multiman.
and for the syscalls can i disable them with psn patch

I don't know any extra ways to disable syscalls... webMAN has to be on the PS3 and you press R2 + Triangle anywhere on XMB

After that, a message should appear and say "History deleted and CFW syscalls disabled"

As long as you're properly spoofed and have disabled syscalls with webMAN, you should be good to log on.

There are many risks that come with any type of CFW... Sometimes you have to be willing to jump into the unknown.

my cid was banned but when i changed it i finally got online
