PS3 Unsure how to do PS2 Emulation

Hello Everyone,

So i recently modded a ps3 CECHK03 with CFW and webman
running cobra 4.89 (I will update soon yes yes)
and running Webman MOD 1.47.43 (will update when i update Cobra)

My issue now comes with ps2 games. They will show up in webman and i will even be able to launch into them
I can play for around 10-20 mins and then the ps3 shuts down with the temprature error (3 beeps and a flashing red light)
Edit: I have the ps2 fans set to 90% as well as the ps3 is in an air conditioned room where the temp is usually always set to around 20 C

Now in my searches i have come across that i use SoftEmu on my model.
Now when i go and look for support on ps3 ps2 emulation i dont really see a ton of softEmu articles or guides

Could anyone please explain to me where im going wrong or what would be the best course of action to take to play these games

The best will be fixing console to not overheating. ;] For kept fan control in PS2 emu, You need changes in SysCon, because WMM alone can control only VSH. Or maybe hacked PS2 emulators if such hacks exist and are possible.

No 100 percent. Ive swapped the thermal paste out on the ps3. The thing is that i can play games like the last of us without the ps3 dying at all but ps2 games kill it. According to a few reddit threads it is an issue that the ps3 does this. I can provide links if you'd want
