UPDATE 7.55 w/ Mira Support Released

.Original Article (7.50) Not only did we just see a PS1 exploit released, the exploited PS4 firmware latter has extended a step to now firmware 7.50 has been officially exploited and released to the public as developer Sleirsgoevy has released the latest PS4 Jailbreak that has utilized the latest findings from TheFlow in his disclosed bug that has the potential to work upto 7.55 but is currently targeted for 7.50 for this release. TheFlow has tweeted several hints regarding 7.55 (tweet 1 / 2) but 7.55 is yet to be solved by other, @zecoxao provided some details and shared via twitter see below.

This is not a fully functional jailbreak yet as there is elements that are needed to be ported like the Mira/HEN and other Payload, so you should not update to this exploit from previous exploits yet. Let it mature, but if your on a PS4 on 7.50 or lower and missed out on previous exploits, Stay Tuned as this progresses,

my first time here jailbreaking ps4 and i am on 7.51,please guide me how can i jailbreak. Thanks.

I don't know if all these methods still work with the same instructions. I'm still on 5.05. I haven't written an exploiting tutorial, but you can exploit with many different apps like xampp or kws. or you can go to a website (probably the easiest). or use a wifi stick or something, which is what I do. here's a lot of info on how things work with the ps4: https://gbatemp.net/threads/aio-ps4-exploit-guide.497858/

you'll also need the 7.50 payloads. I don't think the ones I have work, because I backed them up before they were fixed (weren't working before), so you'll have to find those. they may be in that thread somewhere.

unfortunately, there's no such host that can do a jailbreak and inject the payload automatically this time, everything needs to be done manually.

for now you can just go google the steps, or wait next wekk for a easy to use host to jailbreak your PS4.

I'm on 7.02 ps4 pro model cuh 7215B and as of the last 2 weeks I recall I have been getting alot better success rates with attempts. Few times it takes about 8+ times but I been getting 3-5 attempts alot lately even 3 1st attempts tries

is it me? or each model ps3 has various success rates?
so far for me the pro has the least success rate.

supposedly, the pro has the best success rate, because it's faster. the exploits are race attacks as it makes changes in memory. if it doesn't do it fast enough, the system crashes. there's no real proof that it's faster, but that's what some people attest to.

I think goldhen has things like rest mode and persistent ftp. default dnb even told me ftp lasted going into system settings, which would be good for me, since I mostly use my system for dumping things. going into system settings to install the next pkg or to change themes to dump them causes a problem, because I always have to redeploy ftp on 5.05. it never kp's, but it's kinda annoying.

by persistent, I mean ftp survives rest mode. I just added a 9.00 spoofer to my hen a couple days ago, but I'm going to add goldhen tomorrow probably. I'm going to add it to xproject on 5.05, which is what I use.

here it is for self-hosting, just override original file you're using (make sure it's named correctly). then, erase cache first, then reload and create a new cache. if using a sandisk connect with a confusing location, delete the long alphanumeric and the /cache/ portion if you look for the location like I do. then, exit out and reenter to make auto cache run.

it's not cfw. it's still very limiting, so I wouldn't call it that. however, the 7.55 exploit is working, yes.

yes, I'm not sure of the reliability though. goldhen was recently released for several firmwares. I haven't tested it. before that, the reliability was very poor.

I tried some games like lou2, spiderman miles and rocky ps2 game, all works fine but it takes like 2 to 3 tries to get goldhen activated but it's ok as far as backups working fine, not issue at all and btw i am on 7.55.

@pinky

I wanted to backport 7.55 games to 6.72 and found that there is PS4 Backport tool v1.4. But i can't launch the App on my PC. It says its not a valid win32 application. I also got Autobackport 1.1 but i don't know how to run it. I am on Windows XP.

You probably don't need to backport anything on 6.72
