Well, thanks to MrMario2011 I have been able to CFW my Fat CECHL this morning, now it run 650/900 safely
Now I am at 4 PS3, 2 Fat CFW (1 bricked), 1 2501A CFW 650/1000 and a 3001B as a Retroarch/PS1 machine.

is it not technically possible for a temporary VPS to be hosted as a proxy to connect to for Users to use the toolset?

Edit: something similar to the Fiddler workaround

You don't need to wait. ps3toolset.com still can be used.

There is a tutorial by @NiQ that explains how to bypass the SSL error on PS3 using a Fiddler proxy on PC.

if I was to setup a VPS for anyone to proxy too am I allowed to post it here? Just as a temporary solution to help out the community

I can confirm that DinoNuggy's VPS works! I have a cfw ps3 thanks to their help!
I hope bguerville allows him to share it here!
My now cfw ps3 is a CECH-2501A model btw.
