PS3 Updating to 4.92 after ps3 4k pro mod

So i have ps3 4k pro mod for a long time but recently a whole file manager option disappears and i can't do anything, so something will happen if i just update the firmware to CFW 4.92 without uninstalling the mod? Like any games/apps will uninstall as well or they will stay as they are?

Installing firmware will only install the firmware :P
