PS4 Upgrade base PS4 hard drive with old firmware for jailbreak?

I am currently on Firmware 9.0 and using GoldHen via PaulJenkin's Raspberry Pi Zero W method. So far it works well, Once in a while it doesn't work the first try but that's not a big deal. Now that I have a PS4 that can be jailbroken I want to upgrade to a larger capacity HDD than the 500GB drive that shipped with my base PS4. I know the standard method to do this would be to go to the playstation web site, download the reinstallation firmware, put in on a drive, and use that drive to install the OS onto the new internal hard drive. If I did that now it would be firmware 9.03 and would no longer accept a jailbreak. If I go to https://darksoftware.xyz/PS4/FWlist OR https://darthsternie.net/ps4-firmwares/ they have upgrade firmwares AND RECOVERY firmwares but I don't see REINSTALLATION firmwares. Are Recovery and Reinstallation firmwares the same thing or do I need something else? If I specifically need Reinstallation Firmware is there a place I can get the 9.00 Reinstallation Firmware or am I stuck with the HDD I have now?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Firmware package for reinstallation have ~1GiB, while update package have ~500MiB.

You cannot get fw from Sony site now. They have always newest one, and so far last HEN is possible only on 9.00 version.

I realize that. I stated as much in my post. What I want to know is if the RECOVERY firmware on those sites listed are the the same as REINSTALLATION firmware from sony. If not, where can I get the Reinstallation firmware I need to upgrade my hard drive and maintain Jailbreak capability?

There is no other firmware packages that those for update and those for installation. And whatever someone would name them, they can be easily determined by size, as those for install/reinstall/initialisation are twice as large as update type.

Also, currently there is no way to modify their content and just like all updates packages for all Sony consoles above PS2, they are signed which verifying this.

I used "darksoftware" recovery FW for 5.05 , yes--- MD should be checked very carefully!

I checked the MD after downloading and I'll be upgrading the drive later. I used the other site when I updated to 9.0 OFW and it worked fine but people seem to trust darksoftware more so I will use that source this time. Thanks for the replys.

I have no desire to modify their content. I was just confused about some places calling them recovery instead of installation. Thanks for the input.

I fully understood You on first time, but it is You who didn't understood my way of thinking. ;)

So, if there are only to kind of update packages and they can be easily determine by size, it is logical that names doesn't matter. If packages cannot be modified, it is logical that You have nothing to afraid of downloading wrong, for different purpose.

I plan on upgrading my hdd in the future, please post back with the results and what files you used if you get 9.0 on a new hdd.
