I have a phat PS3 60GB model from 2008, upgraded the HDD to 500GB and now 1TB, i have latest rebug CEX CFW on it.
It's getting really old and the fan is super loud, i opened up and changed the cpu paste, even the one under the CPU hood, it's better but still really loud when you start playing high requirements games.
So i was thinking of upgrading to the PS3 Super Slim, since they seem to be super quiet, but i'm afraid i'll lose some convenience that i have on my current PS3 like webman with the FTP server, and retroarch.

And i wanted to ask, can i install this on a Super Slim and have the same functionality that i have now on my old phat?
If the only difference between CEX CFW and DEX is the PSN i think i can deal with that, i mostly play solo, i only hook up internet when i need to use FTP to transfer files, are there any other differences i should know about?
