PS2 USB extreme does not recognize my disk

After deleting the partitions from the disk and formatting it from windows in ntfs with a single primary partition, from cmd this happens to me:
C:\>ul_format J FORMAT
The USB hard drive need to do Initialise and create a NTFS
partition with maximum size in the WindowsXp Disk Management first!

The USB hard drive is locked while formatting so make sure no files
are open or window explorer isn't exploring the device!

WARNING, ALL DATA ON USB HARD DRIVE WILL BE LOST!
Proceed with Format (Y/N)?
Here I write Y , and I get that:
Cannot get drive layout
Disk format failed
failed.
It will be by the box where I host the hard drive, an 80GB Toshiba.
It has nothing to do with the PC recognizing it perfectly...
The disk is perfectly operable in W10, but for some reason the usb extreme does not recognize it.
It's an aliexpress box, it can be that???
Greetings again.

None of the homebrew apps understand NTFS. You must use FAT32 filesystem on MBR partition table as nothing else USBE can see. Filesystem alone is also not supported.

Besides that, USB Extreme is ancient shit. Switch to OPL 1.2.0 beta, and instead cutting games to pieces use exFAT instead of FAT32, and *.zso instead of *.iso.
