I was really stupid, to update it... I checked internet if it was save to update when on CFW, but didnt realise I needed to check the Xploit first. Well, ... anything I can do now? aside playing 'clean'.

When on CFW there is never any good reason to install OFW ever again unless you want to remove the jailbreak, which you have done.

On OFW 4.88 there is nothing you can do at the moment apart from wait. You cannot currently get your jailbreak and CFW back, so you are presently stuck with a vanilla system.
