I used Apollo save tool to activate my PS3 so i can play games (they ask for me to activate the console, and you cant do that using an normal account right now since there is no HFW 4.91)
It asks for account ID when you press "Activate PS3 (act.dat)" (or atleast something like that), i changed the one that appeared for another one. The one i inputted was in a savefile on my USB.
I formatted the PS3, thinking i broke something, as it was asking for an update, without knowing sony released 4.91 at that time.
It activated normally, but should i be worried about changing the ID?
Also, what does "Update Account & Console IDs" do? Does it change the IDs or just show them to you? They look the same when i go to "About" in the menu.
I'm being careful with my PS3 so when a new HFW releases, i can go back to playing online.
