Not long after the release of Sony's latest firmware update, version 3.50, The Zett was quick to report various aspects of it which we will discuss here. First up is the custom bubbles exploits which this update has blocked, Tom's & mr.Gas trick, however developer 173210 quickly chimed in and showcased that his method can still achieve this. However the method wont be released anytime soon. Also patched in this [break].[/break]firmware update is the renaming of E/PBOOT.PBP and the exploitable games HotBrain, Patapon 2, Numblast and Arcade Darts. What is working however is QCMA and more importantly VHBL.
Other news regarding the PS Vita hacking scene is a upcoming kernel exploit by quikrazor87, the only bad news is that this one is for firmware 3.36. So if you are interested in that then be sure not to update your Vita. Other requirements also include the need for either a second PS Vita/PS TV already running a exploit or a hacked PSP. We will bring you more info regarding that in the coming days.
