PS3 Video problem Help.

Ps3 turns on fine no YLOD or nothing like that but when i see the Sony logo on boot seconds after it goes black with pixals. anyone know whats going on and how to fix if possible.

Looks like either the RSX chip (GPU) has gone kaput, or the HDMI port has.
Do you have a multi AV cable to check whether its HDMI port or not? Hook up AV cable and hold power button as you turn ps3 on to reset video settings and default to the AV out.
