Wanting to play custom music on any game. Does this work on Rebug 4.86.1?

There is no need for hex edit... just use the PARAM.SFO Editor found in my PS3 Tools Collection

So about that.... I loaded up the PARAM.SFO for Hyperdimension Neptunia and.... that "Allow Background Music" box is completely greyed out. Do you think you know why?

I don't know much about the PARAM.SFO on the PS3, but I've dabbled with the sfo creator on the PS4, which is from the official sdk iirc. You can add as many or as few flags as you want. Only a few things like content id, game name, etc. are required. With that being said, that particular flag may not have been set with that game.

In webMAN MOD you can use /sysbgm.ps3 when the game is running to enable the background music that is accessed through the Music column of the in-game XMB (accessed through the PS button).

AFAIK You need to have Background Music flag enabled in attribute of the PARAM.SFO of the game.

NOTE: Once the /sysbgm.ps3 option is enabled, the system will reboot when you exit the game.

Every time I try this the console just crashes. Sometimes music might play, but always still locks up system. Music only takes 0.3/0.4 MB to run and even though that amount is free, still locks up console. Games tried (GTA V, DOA LR, and GTA IV. Would togging 8th SPE help possibly? Don't wanna turn on toggle for 8th core and have a brick

Sorry for typos. My account is oddly all messed up on here so I can't edit. I know 8th spe most likely won't help. Kinda makes me wonder why we even have toggle if its useless.
