Nintendo We Have Success - Majora's Mask Build

there was someone who started porting Paper Mario to PC from the decompile
https://github.com/wowjinxy/papermario
not sure how far he got though or if it can be compiled for PC. Last time he worked on it was April through so i guess its probably dead too.

I was unable to solve this error with it: Untitled-1.png

damn thats a shame, sounds like something missing from python, maybe try running pip and seeing if it can grab trapz or something maybe ? not sure though just a random idea, good luck.

I've been redownloading all of my switch games on to a 2TB micro-sd card, since my 1.5TB seems to be failing, and I don't trust it. after that's done, I'm going to try redownloading papermario for the pc. it's failing at downloading with git for this reason right now. I think I know what's wrong. my internet is being too taxed also. I might be able to get it to work then. it could be about two days before I get to that point.

It took less time than I thought. I think I was having Internet issues. Anyway, my idea didn't work, but I tried Debian, and it got a little further. Apparently, some files are missing, because it can't find a folder as part of the src code. The instructions are taken from the original port, so if anything different must be done, it doesn't mention it.

I tried as I might for msys even, when I thought it might need a pc instead of using linux. some of the shell scripts only work with linux (you get errors using them on msys or cmd prompt), so I suspect that building papermario is only possible in linux. I tried with the requirements.txt, and it still didn't work. I think this is incomplete, and was abandoned or something. I had never heard of a pc version of papermario, so maybe so.
