You can simply change the user agent from PlayStation 3 to PlayStation 4 to use Google on the PS3 again :)

Works on CFW and HEN via mapping.

OK, this is embarrassing. This patch didn't even last a day, lol.

Sorry, guys.

(I think I held onto it for quite a while, I've been using it for the past few weeks before sharing it.)
It was working just a few hours ago, and now it only shows a blank screen when I try to search.

Guess Google's messing with their pages again.

I've been testing different user agents, but getting the same result.
If anyone has an idea, please feel free to share!

It's known, but by using the web browser's debug menu to switch user agents, most people were using the PSP one, but it stopped working 2 weeks ago.

I've been checking on YouTube, and it looks like the Windows NT user agent also stopped working with Google this week, lol.

In the worst case, we can patch it to use Yahoo instead (it's still working) and fits the SPRX.

If someone clone google website using the search api + proxy, we can use bit.ly to fit the url inside the sprx.

Have you tried switching to a mobile user agent instead? In my experience, they tend to last longer when it comes to browser obsolescence. Yahoo probably won't be supported for much longer. Also, mobile user agents usually preserve more of the website's layout.
I would've created a new thread to help people with that, but the admin took away my posting privileges, and he is a pit bull, so I'm not trying to get bitten by asking for them back.

I've tried multiple mobile use agents, such Symbian, Tizen, Blackberry, Android 4.xx all the same

Bummer. I was going to mention Android as a last resort while you were editing your post to include that information.
If even Android doesn't work, I'm afraid I'm out of ideas then.

We need a google clone with a proxy, so we can access HTPPS sites as well
 
How advanced is the browser can it run WebGL emulators or Javascript emulators well?
I've seen some PS2 pcsx2 browser based ports, imagine rpcs3.
