PS3 webMAN MOD not working on PS3 Slim CFW 4.90 Evilnat Cobra 8.4 [PEX]

I have a PS3 Slim running CFW 4.90 Evilnat Cobra 8.4 [PEX] and webMAN MOD has stopped working for me. No matter which installation I choose, light or full, it never activates and leaves me with an empty webMAN MOD folder.

It used to work before, but it stopped working after I accidentally clicked unload VSH. And it went into recovery mode displaying that there were corrupted files and it needs to recover. After that, it stopped.

I've tried several solutions to fix the issue, including removing all webMAN files with multiman and reinstalling, restoring the PS3 from recovery mode, making sure to use webMAN from Github, checking that the plugin.txt is correct and the plugins folder containing the .srpx, and checking the setup.ps3 website, which returns nothing. I've also clicked button combos to see if webMAN is working, but got no response.

I would appreciate any help in getting webMAN MOD to work again. I have tried several solutions, but nothing seems to work. If you have any suggestions or solutions, please let me know. I am open to any suggestions or troubleshooting steps that might help me resolve this issue.
 
Disconnect all USB devices. Go to /setup.ps3, check "Disable content scanning a startup" and save.

Run prepISO and wait until the games appear. Reboot. The games should be listed.

Reconnect the USB devices and run prepISO again. You may need to wait a few minutes if you have a large collection of games.

Doesn't this assume that webMAN is activated? Because if it is then mine is not activated. I didn't get any webMAN notification after rebooting and neither did SELECT+START (or other webMAN mod buttons combo) work since it is not activated.

But I tried it anyway and it returns "The page cannot be displayed. (8071053d)"

Here are the URLs that I tried:
  • 0/setup.ps3
  • 0.0.0.0/setup.ps3
  • 127.0.0.1/setup.ps3
  • 192.168.8.8/setup.ps3

If it says "The page cannot be displayed. (8071053d)" with http://0 then webMAN is not loaded.

If you're running CFW, verify that Cobra is enabled. If you're on HFW, then HEN must be enabled.

Also check that /dev_hdd0/boot_plugins.txt exists and that it has a line pointing to /dev_hdd0/plugins/webftp_server.sprx

If you switched to DEX, the plugin is loaded by /dev_hdd0/boot_plugins_dex.txt

If you have doubts about how to check the files above, simply reinstall webMAN MOD using the installer from https://github.com/aldostools/webMAN-MOD/releases

My Cobra was disabled. After reenabling it, it works again! Thank you!

For future readers, this is how to enable Cobra for CFW 4.90 Evilnat Cobra 8.4 [PEX] if for some reason it was disabled:
  1. In the main xmb go to Network
  2. Click on Custom Firmware Tools
  3. Scroll down to Cobra Tools and click it
  4. Then, scroll down until you see Toggle Cobra and click it
It will reboot your system and hopefully, your plugins will be loaded like normal again.

Do you by chance have the prior webman installer pkg from April 2023? The one uploaded 2 days ago is giving me issues.

If you're on DEX mode, please use the online updater or re-download the installer updated today (it still says 1.47.44 but I will update the version to 1.47.45 the next time)
