PS3 webMAN Mod v1.41.11 - All Previous Additions & Changes Are Back

Update: Version 1.41.12 released. After recent issues with webMAN Mod here is the latest stable build of the very popular plugin. Developer Aldostools recently reverted back to version 1.41.05 after some bugs plagued many using webMAN. In this update everything from version 1.41.06-1.41.10 have been reimplimented.[break][/break]

PRX Loader 1.08U mod by NzV,
PRX Mamba Loader or with
Cobra version of PS3M API.

Aldostools wrong, she was the most active developer in the latter period, I take this opportunity to request a function that collects all the plugins within irisMAN, something like this:
Start menu
loads the plugin sprx from a given directory and display them on the screen
select the plugin and clicking on the shift occurs
rename the file in webftp_server.sprx
checks that the file is present in the directory boot_plugins.txt
reboot the ps3

You could also tell me what function or what it is for the use of CCAPI 2.60, because so far do not understand anything about it and how do I install it?

CCAPI and the sorts, in a nutshell, give you the ability to read/write to RAM in real time. I believe most use this to "mod" games if you will. I personally use it for FFX remaster and the kingdom hearts hd games to play with stats.

I'm sure there is more you can do with it, however i'm not that familiar with it.

I implemented the feature in 3.39 like it's done in webMAN MOD (through the File Manager)... I find the Start menu is already overloaded...

TIP: For NTFS, instead of install the pkgs as bubble, copy the packages to /dev_hdd0/packages, mount the folder as /dev_bdvd, then use Install All Packages
- File Manager: Added support to replace /dev_hdd0/webftp_server.sprx with the selected webftp_server_*.sprx
- Create /dev_hdd0/classic_ps2 when a PS2 Classic is mounted

 

1.41.12 is Not working for me I'm on CECH2506A - REBUG 4.65.2. Whenever I load ISO game from webman it hangs/freezes showing only message "game name" iso loaded with blank white page stuck not allowing to close. I have to power off the ps3 then i gives me two beeps. I have tested the versions up to 1.41.08 was working fine but I rolled back to 1.41.05 as recommend and upgraded the latest yesterday. Previously I never had problem with webman mod going back to 1.41.5. Thanks anyway.

Well same freezing problem with webman mod 1.41.14 but it can be fixed by disabling "Disable Auto-fix game" in webman setting now it works. So it has to do something with the auto fixing games. I hope it helps anyone with the same problem on latest REBUG

was wondering if its possible to add some kind of an icon or something in Games sections to show if the game is located on internal HDD or it's located on USB HDD,
Not sure if its possible or not but will be a nice option.

Coldlm -> On XMB there is a small line that shows the path. I don't think it is possible to add an icon.
On HTML it is possible to add icons, but I don't think it is necessary due you can filter the content by different conditions. So if you're looking for games on internal hdd you simply make the query.

 

I would be great if someone could help to integrate into webMAN MOD the video recording feature included in Mysis' PoC.
The code is already partially implemented, but it crashes the plugin.

I have tested your "test build" and Its working with Unchecked "Disable Auto-fix game" no Freezing problem while loading ISOs but I felt longer time for loading ISO i mean longer pause then usual anyway that's not a big problem but I just wanted to give you exact feedback as possible

The loading of the ISO takes a few seconds more due the ISO should be checked and patched. But once the ISO is fixed, the loading time should be only 1 or 2 more seconds if Auto-Fix is enabled.

I have uploaded webMAN MOD 1.41.15 to Brewology with the following changes:

- Fixed regression in auto-fix game (causing freeze when a ps3 iso was mounted)
- Integrated @Mysis video_rec plugin ported to C by [MENTION=21]3141card[/MENTION]
* Use SELECT+R3 to load/unload video_rec.sprx
* Use R3 in-game to record video to /dev_hdd0/VIDEO

I use the CFW REBUG 4.65.2 in COBRA mode. And installed it on my PS3 the Irisman 3:39 and the webman 1:41:15 and detected the following problems:
-In Irisman 3:39 there is a freeze whenever screen or mute when I walk into any sub menu and I can only return to normal when I press the off button, and it did not happen in this CFW when I had installed Irisman 3:38!
-In Webman 1:41:15 visibly I spotted my XMB much slow as well which changed from one menu to another there was a pause that seems to be freezing the image, like a delay in changing a sub menu to the other, I the move to webman 1:41:05 and this stopped happening back XMB be too short or is normal.

I do not know if you have solution for these two cases but if you ask their commitment to solve this.

I disabled using the SELECT and R3 and continues the menus of both the XMB buttons as slow webman menus giving breaks to be able to move from one item to another, did not work.

What about freezing Irisman 3:39 that only returns to normal when you turn off the PS3 how I can fix.

Well my slowdown stopped when I disabled the video thing, and I quite dont understand what submenus are u talking about, my irisman doesnt seem to freeze or anything, I am on Rebug 4.65.2 REX

I do not understand you RAFAGAMAXIMA, here on my ps3 and four others who tested the Irisman 3:39 locks up trying to enter the global options or turn the game page or select or change any option in Irisman 3.39.

I hope the word of Aldo developer.

 

I have instaled latest 1.41.15 but it looks like im having some memory issue(don't know what to call it) on ps3 xmb when pressing up and down on my list of homebrews and games, it looks like it freezes for a split second and then then goes up or down fast jumping some of the homebrews depending on wich button i pressed.

Also where do i press the SLELECT+R3 to unload the rec plugin? i tried it in ps3 xmb but no message appears saying if its unloaded

 

video_rec.sprx requires more than 16MB of memory with more processing SPU, most likely the console can not handle the load, it is recommended to replace the plug with the lite version
