PS3 webMAN MOD v1.47.01 - NEW Stable version with latest inclusions from Aldostools

After some testing builds where issues were introduced in the latest updates of webMAN MOD there has been some significant progress that has produced a new Stable release (v1.47.01) after some exciting new inclusions are added to the popular ps3 plugin that takes deank's webMAN (vanilla) plugin and adds a variety of additional features and functions. In some of the latest updates Aldostools has tinkered with deank's slaunch (since evolved into sMAN) and has some modifications that differs from the approach in deank's sMAN, There has been alot of development of this plugin lately by developer aldostools and some regressions did arise while implementing some of these latest additions, but all has fixed., The developer recommends anyone that was using the various v1.46.xx - v1.47.00 builds/commits to update to v1.47.01 which is consider a much more STABLE build.

1.47.03 did bring back the submenu that 1.47.02 lost. :)
I don't see any problems with it thus far, still bug checking :)

Also, wouldn't the easiest solution to be either disable the [online] tagging or just rename the darn file and remove the [online] and replace with 0nline or something?

Yeah, everything seems to be in the correct order as far as I can tell.
It could be a regression in the code that changes focus to the Disc icon in _mount.h...
What is strange though is that nobody has reported the issue so far... Unless I missed it...
I am sure @aldostools will take care of it if it needs fixed.
But first, the issue needs to be reproduced on another console to be fixed... Anyone cares to test & report?

Are you testing wMM atm?
If yes, could you please confirm if you are also getting the issue described in post #219?

If you use the [online] tag, you automatically disable syscalls when you mount your 1st game. Using PS3MAPI to be able to restore syscalls is not good practice so you should either get rid of the [online] tag or use the R2 button during game mounting to ignore the existing tag.

The R2 did the trick...
Thanks for all the help.

I've updated to 1.47.03 and now when I load a game, it doesn't take me back to the XMB and instead I have to press O (circle) twice to back out of wMM to launch the game. Before (1.47.01) it would automatically do this so all I needed to do was hit X to launch the game. Was this feature changed in 1.47.03 (or since 1.47.02)?

[v] PLAY DISC: L2+START in wMM setup should be checked, or try Reset wMM config Settings: SELECT+R3+L2+R2

It appears that your problem cannot be reproduced so far, it could be caused by your setup...
You might want to try deleting the wm_config.bin file to begin with even though I doubt that this is the issue.
No need to do this manually, you can use the "delete config" link in the setup page to delete the file or you can use the config reset combo.
Reboot & reconfigure the setup page as required.
If this does not solve the issue, report & we'll advise you further.

Btw thanks @psykosis for your tests & report. [emoji6]

I'll try that. I usually uncheck most things because others use my CFW PS3's.

Thanks @bguerville. I'll try that again also. If it doesn't work then I'll reinstall wMM 1.46.xx and 1.47.01 to see if it exists on them now just to be sure.

EDIT: It seems @citra mulia #226 was right . Checking/Enabling [v] PLAY DISC: L2+START was the reason. Now when I select a .ISO, it quits wMM and returns back to XMB.

Thanks everyone for all your solutions and help!

OK, so thanks to @citra mulia I managed to fix my previous issue but now I generally have a small bug to report.

So I'm setting up my /setup.ps3 in wMM. I've just edited my fan control temperatures. I generally press START to close the keyboard once I've finished typing but I must have pressed START for too long as sLaunch loaded. I pressed O (circle) to close sLaunch and it prompted me if I wanted to close the browser, I selected NO as I wanted to continue editing /setup.ps3 and the system froze.

hey guys whenever i install any of the 1.47.xx wMM (but especially 1.47.04 on a freshly modded system , the first column in the webman games folder shows all the icons...like ps3, ps2, dvd...etc but the second column is blank ...no icons pop up at all???

whats funny is that it does this on some and then on others it doesn't and installs fine. If I delete everything put the stock rebug webftp_server.sprx in the module folder (since now its changed to 1.47.xx) so that way its back to 1.45.09 and then I install wMM 1.45.10 . then everything is good only seems to be with 1.47.xx versions.

usually wMM is one of the first things i install along with mM and a couple of other things like psn patch. all systems are put on rebug 4.81.02 / 7.50

any idea how to fix this?

Does it happen also with webMAN MOD 1.47.05?

im going to be doing at least 3 ps3's this weekend...i will put this in all 3 and see what happens and report back... thanks
well since this post i've done like 8 ps3's about 3 CECH-200x series and the rest 250x series...all with webman mod 1.47.05 and no problems with the install anymore. I did only install the lite version on all. So far , so good

@aldostools can you make the Retro Folders Categorized? or Multiple Folder for different type of roms.. i have about 1500 roms and its a pain in the ass scroll all way down and see which retro console is it for

sometimes it doent load the game, i click in a game and nothing happens
only rebooting solve.

it happened a couple of times, especially after entering multiman or ps2 games

What do you mean by "loading" a game? Mounting it or launching it?

If you have issue mounting the games after using multiman, try refreshing xml & html in wMM before mounting to see if that helps.

Remember that when you use multiman, prepntfs.self (1.0) is launched in the background to create the multiman games list. This may replace the xml created by wMM.

Where is the record option? Do I just press select + R3 while on xmb after I enable recording?
The video recording feature relies on the video_rec sprx plugin & works in-game only, it can be toggled on/off using the Select + R3 pad combo.
It can also be be toggled using the web command /videorec.ps3 in any browser on the network.
Some arguments can be passed using this command. For example:
to indicate the video path
/videorec.ps3<path>
to set video format
/videorec.ps3?<video-rec-params>
to set path & AV format
/videorec.ps3?<path>&video=<format>&audio=<format>

Do I need to enable the video_rec sprx plug-in somehow?
I found how to enable the button combo it resets my ps3 and says something can't run correctly and the command isn't working.
I feel like there's something else I need to enable/move around/add.
