PS3 webMAN MOD v1.47.01 - NEW Stable version with latest inclusions from Aldostools

After some testing builds where issues were introduced in the latest updates of webMAN MOD there has been some significant progress that has produced a new Stable release (v1.47.01) after some exciting new inclusions are added to the popular ps3 plugin that takes deank's webMAN (vanilla) plugin and adds a variety of additional features and functions. In some of the latest updates Aldostools has tinkered with deank's slaunch (since evolved into sMAN) and has some modifications that differs from the approach in deank's sMAN, There has been alot of development of this plugin lately by developer aldostools and some regressions did arise while implementing some of these latest additions, but all has fixed., The developer recommends anyone that was using the various v1.46.xx - v1.47.00 builds/commits to update to v1.47.01 which is consider a much more STABLE build.

Yes, you just have to install it again and that's it.

Normally it is not required to uninstall the previous version. Just install the new PKG and overwrite the existing files.

In /setup.ps3 there are 2 links that can be useful to reset your settings:

1- Delete: wmconfig -> /delete.ps3?wmconfig Resets the settings to the default values
2- Delete: wmtmp -> /delete.ps3?wmtmp Deletes the cached files (incluing the .ntfs[ files)

If you're switching between sMAN and webMAN MOD, please refresh the XML (use SELECT+L3) then reboot. This can prevent that the system freeze due the difference in the xmb proxy used by both applications.

To uninstall webMAN MOD, use the command suggested by self_slaughter:
http://localhost/delete.ps3?uninstall (or replace localhost with the IP address of your PS3)

Note: These commands only work in sys_admin mode.

It happens only with PS1 games (bin+cue) - I just tested your "ps3netsrv build 20170106 (mod by aldostools)".

As promised, I fixed the compatibility issue in ps3netsrv build 20170310
https://github.com/aldostools/webMAN-MOD/releases/download/1.47.03/ps3netsrv_20170310.zip

It was caused by a return 0 that left the connection open when /CLOSEFILE was used after read the CUE file. Now process_open_cmd returns -1, closes the connection and deletes the instance of the client object.

Hey aldostools,

Did you update the source at git to? I need to compile to linux...

Big thanks for your work by the way.

thanks @aldostools

i notice that slaunch show only 1000 game from my 1300+ game, could you please make it handle more games bc in XMB is shaowing all my games without any problem.

also same time slaunch read from /dev_flash/vsh/resource/explorer/icon/
and show only "icon_wm_ps3.png" as a game. and slaunch duplicat this pic as a game sometime 10 times even more in sometime.

and finally i notice that i can't enter the setup page from slaunch side menu. and after that if i try to enter the setup from the xmb the ps3 freez.

rebug 4.81.02 + wMM v1.47.03 Full Edition [standard (896KB) + uncheked all the scan content and cheked only ps3 box + 5 IPs to scan] + ps3netsrv_20170310 [ no ext HDD pluged or games inside int HDD onley the net] + ethernet cable [direct no router].

thaks again

It's weird that all the games are shown in XMB, but not in sLaunch. Both lists are generated at the same time.

Are you sure that you're using sLaunch MOD 1.09? The limit is currently set to 2000.

So even on the latest version i still can load only one game during boots... if I try to load a second game it gives an error "CFW syscall already disabled"...

Any idea?

This is a fresh install on a slim ps3 (Rebug 4.81.02, latest WMM and ps3 netserv), all games are isos...

If you use the combo R2+Triangle the CFW syscalls are disabled until you reboot.

There is an option next to the combo in /setup.ps3 named ps3mapi that can enable the syscalls again without rebooting. But this option is less safe for PSN.

I never go online... so that's not a problem... and will try your suggestion when i'm near the ps3...
Also never used that combo (I think)...
So explain something to me, this is normal behavior? you can only load a game per boot? Or is it something wrong?
I'm asking this because this was a downgraded ps3... the fat one I had never gave me any issue.

One game can be mounted only if you have used the combo or keep pressing R2 when a game is mounted the syscalls are disabled.

If ps3mapi is kept enabled, the syscalls can be restored without rebooting and other games can be mounted. By default ps3mapi is disabled when the syscalls are removed, but can be enabled in /setup.ps3 to allow the syscall restore.

Not sure why syscalls get disabled on your console..
There could be various explanations for this like aldostools said. On the top of my head I can think of at least 4 common cases where syscalls would get disabled.

1. WMM settings like Offline use or Delete history/disable syscalls options are checked.
2. Combos like R2+Triangle or custom combo is being used, even inadvertently. .
3. Using the string "[online]" in a game's directory/sub-directory or filename. To avoid wMM processing of the online tag, you can hold R2 pressed while mounting the game.
4. Psnpatch/SEN Enabler plugin getting triggered.

The games do have the -online- tag on them... there's a couple of steps that I will have to check... and i will report back!

For now real thanks for the help.
If you use the [online] tag, you automatically disable syscalls when you mount your 1st game. Using PS3MAPI to be able to restore syscalls is not good practice so you should either get rid of the [online] tag or use the R2 button during game mounting to ignore the existing tag.

I've updated to 1.47.03 and now when I load a game, it doesn't take me back to the XMB and instead I have to press O (circle) twice to back out of wMM to launch the game. Before (1.47.01) it would automatically do this so all I needed to do was hit X to launch the game. Was this feature changed in 1.47.03 (or since 1.47.02)?

Have not tested 1.47.03 yet so I can't tell for sure but...
Could it be because the web browser auto-close setting isn't set properly?
Have you checked?
