ABOUT webMAN MOD

webMAN MOD is a modified version of deank's original webMAN plugin (.sprx). this fork of deank's version was first introduced by M@tsumot0 with various modifications in refence to IDPS options and various other tweaks, then later on developer aldostools joined the project and has provided many updates to this fork.

The plugin is compatible with Cobra CFW 4.21-4.66 and then any firmware up-to v4.66 using PRX Loader. WebMAN MOD provides additional features that are not found in the "vanilla version" of webMAN. Some of those features consist of user-friendly smart installer/updater for Cobra and NonCobra, IDPS/PSID spoof, support for 23 languages using external files, disable cfw syscalls, remote peek/poke/find in LV1/LV2, remote backup to HDD and from HDD to USB, external GameData, toggle rebug/Cobra features, auto-fix games, webchat, PS3 Manager API among other improvements.

The idea of listing the RetroXMB videos on the "Bluray ™and DVD" folder comes from @STLcardsWS ;)

I forgot to mention the following new feature:
- Auto-enable /dev_blind. Disable it using the link in the <dir> column on file manager.

The /dev_blind is auto-enabled just accessing it via web or ftp. Use http://your-ps3-ip-address/dev_blind?0 to unmount /dev_blind
The link to umount /dev_blind is available on the <dir> column next to /dev_blind on the web file manager of webMAN.

These are some new web commands:
/dev_blind = lists the root folder of /dev_blind (mounts /dev_blind if necessary)
/dev_blind? = shows the current status of /dev_blind (enabled/disabled)
/dev_blind?0 = unmounts /dev_blind and shows the status
/dev_blind?1 = mounts /dev_blind and shows the status

DISCLAIMER: /dev_blind is a virtual device that allows read/write access to /dev_flash.
It can be used to customize the files of your CFW. Use /dev_blind with care or you could brick or semi-brick your console.
I can't take any responsibility if the feature is used with negligence. Use it at your own risk.

Additional Note: The changelog above says "IRISMAN", but it should be read as "webMAN MOD"

Webman now only shows 1 psx game and multiman shows none, any solution?

What edition of webman are you using? What is your CFW ? What is the path of your PSX games?
Please include a list of the file names of the games in that path and a screen capture of the game being listed.

Does it happen only in this new version or in previous versions too? Does it happen only on XMB, on web or on both?

Without a detailed description of the issue I cannot help...

Just for reference: My PSX games are showing fine on External PSXISO -- Rebug v4.65.2

I use the same configuration, have update to this version of webman.Latest multiman and use to run psx bin from external folder psxiso using webman. now multiman does not show psx games only psp and webman shows only one game: Street fighter Ex Plus Alpha.
On the two hds I made copys of Sf EX plus Alpha and Ex 2 and SF Alpha 3. On version 1.41.17 all works fine.

I'll have to test this out this evening.

Stupid question. I run my PSXISO from netserv. I saw in webman that pressing Select+L1 or R1 will change discs. I for the life of me cannot get this to work. I tried mounting disc 1, then 2, then 1 again to start the game. However in game when it asks for disc 2, pressing the PS button and using the combo doesn't seem to do anything. Am I missing something really obvious?

:select:+:L1: / :select:+:R1: in webMAN MOD are used to mount the previous/next game from the 5 last games that were mounted.

For multi-disc PSX games, try using IRISMAN.

I had the same problem ... you can not use the combo to change the PS1 disc (to move to the second disc) because pressing the PS button it is still in PS1 emulator and not in XMB.
You can swap PS1 disks with the games list page from the browser on your smartphone/tablet/PC, when the PS1 game requires the change of the disc:
- unmount the first PS1 disc
- select and mount the second PS1 disc
- on PS3 a notification will alert the caricamneto the second disc...so you can continue the game PS1

That's what's failing for me =(

Basically I can unmount the disc in game, but when i try and mount the 2nd disc I just get ERROR. IF I click on the disc, it actaully mounts it (the xmb notifcation) but then the PS3 locks up and have to hard power off the system.

On a separate note - installed WMM 1.41.18 over .17 - I get the Webman loaded message. However My Games remains empty. Habib 4.66 v1.01 - only SEN Enabler installed with WMM. If I delete WMCONFIG.BIN I can at least see the local disc games. Once you configure the net settings, system locks. CECHA-2001A

On my side, I'm trying for the first time PSX games using webMAN with .CUE + .BIN backups on an external FAT32 drive. That works good but webMAN list two time each games (one time for the .CUE and one time for the .BIN). So I deleted the .CUE. But now mmcm doesn't see the games.
It is not so important but maybe a correction or an option to not scan the .CUE (or the .BIN) may be great.

EDIT : My mistake. Forget. i have not .bin but .img. Renamed .bin it's OK. lol....
