webMAN v1.43.23

  • The issue about games not showing when "Disable grouping of content in "webMAN Games" is selected seems to be a regression present since build 1.43.20, but nobody reported about it until now.

This issue should be fixed in the build 1.43.23

I have tested disabling dynamic fan control (SYSCON mode) with webMAN MOD 1.43.23 on my CFW 4.46 Rogero Cobra 7.2 and I the system info (CPU/RSX temps, memory, IP, Cobra version, etc.) shows fine when I press SELECT+START on XMB in-game (accessed with PS button).

So it must be an issue with the settings in your CFW or your console... try disabling all the other plugins (if you have any). Also test if it still does not happen reinstalling 1.43.16.

BTW a screenshot and a detailed description of the environment (CFW version, if Cobra or Mamba is enabled or not, other plugins running, game, ISO or JB folder, logs, etc.) is always helpful.
Otherwise I'd have to guess what you exactly did...

I'm just on Rebug 4.76.1 drex with nothing installed , just GTA 5 and rebug toolbox , no plugins ... on what CFW you tested it ? maybe it's from 4.76.1 drex ? because is new ?

[MENTION=89]aldostools[/MENTION], can you modify the webman code and try to add the xmb icon in the wm_icons folder?
This way, we can add a custom xmb icon to all our webman pkg themes.
Also can be great for all those users that love to customize their ps3 sistem :)

I have updated the binaries of 1.43.23 with your requested feature:
If the file /dev_hdd0/tmp/wm_icons/icon_wm_root.png exists, it will be used as icon for "webMAN Games".
Otherwise it will use the original resource icon "item_tex_ps3util" from the .p3t theme as usual.

I have included in the pkg the file "icon_wm_root.png" only as reference. It will not be installed by the updater.

I am sure not much was done other the removal of things. Sony seems to have all but given up, regardless thanks for the update. Now I need to get my system back up and running.

couldn't find 4.78 online. the latest on sony's website is 4.76 according to both firmware and image version.

Good work aldo
Can you share source code of payload 4.78 for iris and webman

Do you mean that the dex 4.78 firmware was released ??

No. But as 4.78 lv2 kernel cex is almost identical to 4.75/4.76 cex, it's safe to predict the offsets of 4.78 dex ;)

Good work aldo

http://aldostools.org/temp/test/payload_475.c
http://aldostools.org/temp/test/payload_475dex.c

The offsets are the same in 4.75/4.76/4.78, I only added is_firm_478() and is_firm_478dex() and used the payload for 4.75.

http://aldostools.org/temp/test/webMAN_MOD_1.43.24.rar

BTW I just found that I forgot to update the code for "Cobra spoofer". So I updated the source code and binaries of IRISMAN and webMAN MOD with:
Code:
    spoof_version  = 0x478;
    spoof_revision = 66041;

Yes i noticed it only now
In this moment i have started my pc and downloaded the 4.78 OFW ;) thanks for your work

Aldo , please check show temperature feature , when is set on SYSCON (disabled dynamic fan control) , when I am in a game and I want to check temperature it freezes console . It must be something wrong only in new versions 1.43.22 and 1.43.23 , because earlier versions like 1.43.16 worked fine .

Ok, finally I could reproduce the issue reported above... The missing detail was that you were doing it with syscalls disabled. Thanks to [MENTION=29]Joonie[/MENTION] for the helping me to find out how to reproduce the bug.

You can test if this build solves the issue:
