PS3HEN What are the recommended open source home-brew development stuff for PSGL?

speaking of which, I've really been getting into compiling RetroArch on multiple systems. macOS should support some form of linux afaik, which is what I would do to build ps3 stuff. this stuff has gotten even easier for me. I was able to build RetroArch cores for ps3, psp, psvita, wiiu, and web assembly.

I am interested in reworking the old Warzone 2100 PlayStation one engine into the new PS3 PSGL but it would require a rewrite of some of the code. The game is gplv2 licensed. I might have to either redo the old pc code that was open sourced to the public or maybe disassemble the PS1 executable (much harder).
