PS2 What is the PS2 lifespan using USB and OPL?

Hi everyone. So basically i am a little OCD about this, i just got a used PS2 with Freemcboot installed, the laser doesnt work so i am using OPL with games installed on a Pendrive.

With the laser out of the way, what is the lifespan of a PS2 now? as far as i know the only thing moving inside the PS2 now is the fan, so maybe it will last a very long time?

I have been looking for answers for this topic but found nothing and that is why i am asking here.

Also i am concerned about the power on button...

It will work until something breaks in it. Exactly at this moment it will stop working.
