PS3 Which Best CFW Evilnat best to use on 4.90

PEX is equivalent to Rebug REX
D-PEX is equivalent to Rebug D-REX
CEX is equivalent to Rebug Lite
DEX is irrelevant because it can only be installed on Debug units (or units converted to DEX mode) and does not allow you to switch back to retail.

NoBD is for units with a broken Blu-Ray drive (or more specifically broken daughterboard). If your PS3 doesn't read physical discs then you have to install this. Attempting to install a regular firmware on a PS3 with a broken Blu-Ray drive might brick it.
NoBT is for units with a broken Bluetooth module. If you cannot use your controller wirelessly and have to connect it via USB for it to work then that's probably the case, in which case you have to install this. As with noBD, attempting to install regular firmware on a PS3 with a broken Bluetooth module might brick it.
NoBD+NoBT is for units with both broken Blu-Ray drives and broken Bluetooth modules.
OC is overclocked but use with care because it can increase the risks of overheating and YLOD.

Most people usually use the PEX variant (the first download on the list) because it contains the features of both CEX and DEX and allows you to switch between the two. If you've switched your console to DEX using Rebug then you need to use D-PEX instead, which is equivalent to PEX but is intended for installation on DEX systems (either true debug units or converted).

If your system is already on CFW (e.g. Rebug) and you want to update, just download the appropriate firmware, put it on a MBR-FAT32 formatted USB disk (make sure it's named PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP in all caps) then do a system update via storage media. You do not need to jailbreak again.
If you ever with to downgrade back, use the CFW tools menu to enable the QA flag if you haven't done so yet (it's probably a good idea to enable it and keep it enabled, as there are no drawbacks), and then you can downgrade using the same system update via storage media method. Note that you cannot downgrade to a firmware version lower than the one your PS3 originally came with.

Yes, just disable syscalls via the CFW tools menu. All previous tools (e.g. SEN Enabler / PSN Patch) are deprecated and obsolete at this point. If you have webMAN MOD installed you can also use the shortcut R2+Triangle.
Do not use any ID spoofs - These are only needed if you want to connect on an already-banned unit - and also you need an actual IDPS to spoof, and these are not freely available.
