I agree. I don't play much beyond the wii-u and the retron 5. of the available, all but the ps4. :)

For the moment, it's a tricky situation.. Nobody knows whether getting a 1.76 now is a smart move or not.. In the meanwhile if you are on 1.76 you can only play ps4 first game releases... even though that's bound to change with new workaround tools being released.
Unless one has 2 ps4 but that's a fair $800-$1000 spent on consoles here..... And games to buy after that. Never mind PSN+ to play online...

I almost forgot as I don't use it lately but I also have a nice modded PS2. That counts as well right?

Yea two is not nearly enough. All of the above for me except PSP as Infinity bricked mine and just dont use my PS2 after getting a BC PS3. But PSTV and PS4 the most for me lately.

Currently means you have at least turned it on in the last few months lol.

Same as this fine gentleman here, the PSP is by far the most complete handheld system out there

Yes boss I have turned more then two on in the last month LOL PS4 to try out the new playground pack. CMA backup my 3.20 system to install hacks and themes on my 3.60 system so I could get trophies for Uncharted syncd to my PSN profile. And my BC PS3 to play games and technically my slim as well since I stream games from that HDD to my BC.
 
I honestly don't think I would do much if it wasnt for Sony systems and all the wonderful hacks out there. Everyone says I waste my time but it intrigues me.
 
I had one on 1.76 till Batman came out and updated it. Then picked up one with a broken HDMI port for $70. Now that one I am currently as of this typing playing Uncharted 4 on it as well. I did manage to get a PS4 NiB from Walmart in a TLoU bundle thst had been there for over a year. No one in my town that I know owns a PS4. MS has always been the key system here. Why I have no idea but everytime a Sony exclusive comes out everyone heads to my house to see them.
 
I suppose a lot of people mostly use games like cod.. So an Xbox does the trick.

The fact that MS is American must play a role too, I suppose.

But in the end, your neighbours know they can play the Sony exclusives at your house anyway... [emoji16]

I'm not sure what firmware the metal slime ps4 came with when it was new. when I got it, it had firmware higher than 1.76 on it though. it's my only ps4 atm, and I wouldn't have been able to play new games or use ps+ without updating. I read on ps3devwiki a long time ago that it's possible to add newer keys to lower firmware. the same may be true with the ps4, so negating system updates and adding in those keys might be "key" to playing those newer games on 1.76 assuming exploits rn't found on higher firmware. :p
 
Yea FPS I jist dont get into especially if war related. The Doom reboot has struck my curiosity but not till it goes down in price. Only FPS series I follow is Resistance as it was simply stunning when the PS3 launched. The Vita one was amazing and part 3 with the PSP connectivity really was a nest idea. To bad it wasnt more widely spread.

FPS is not the problem in itself. Personally it's the games I have a problem with...
Apart from that, just like you, if a FPS game is interesting then no problem..

It falls in the "Madden" genre as I refer to it. There aren't many if any improvements. Should just do a roster update and call it a day. But it is insane how crazy folks get for new sports games. Only ones I found enjoyable were the Blitz/Hitz fantasy series. But even those are trying to stay from the fantasy portion to mimic normal games. I still enjoy Blitz 2000 and NHL Hitz 2002. The rest are turds.
