PS2 Which PS2 fat model is the most durable ?

I want to buy another fat PS2 console, I only play games through internal HDD+HDD adapter. I don't care about laser quality....

Which model is the most durable ?

...or... 50k (since you don't care about discs) which lacks Firewire but has IR integrated and the BA-Bug.
 
D-Chassis (V4) consoles are the best ones minus the 400B laser that almost always never works. If you know how to replace them and properly dial them in then those ones are defo the best. G-Chassis (V7) is also a good option but finding good quality replacement KHS-400C lasers is impossible now.
 
No wait. Ignore the bit about lasers. I misread the post lol. But still my opinion that D-Chassis systems are the way to go stands. The build quality is nice, after that point Sony just subtly downgraded and cheapened the console.
