Will I get banned even if I don't play online?

hello there everyone! happy holidays to y'all
well, I have a mini concern.
Will I get banned when I sign in to psn even without playing online?
as I don't play online, I only want psn so I can use those extra features from various games that require u to be signed in to psn.
so what do y'all recommend? (ik bout spoofing nd disabling syscalls...etc, I'm just asking if I can keep signed in and use psn while in-game without doing anything)

Yes, there is always a chance of getting a ban when signing into psn.

Okay to be perfectly clear, you may connect your ps3 with cfw to the interwebs, you may browse any site that ps3 can view(not many ssl certs are outdated), you can use movian to stream or basically anything internet wise is okay. That said I've never gotten a ban just from my ps3 being internet connected, the system integrity checks involved in the flagging/banning only occur with data sent/retrieved to $onys servers when you attempt to log into psn, simply pulling up the login prompt shouldn't flag you for a ban, but doing the same an actually logging into psn will flag you for a ban. In a nutshell DO NOT SIGN IN TO PSN, DONT LAUNCH THE PLAYSTATION STORE, and that's all there really is to avoiding bans in general don't sign in you've got pretty much absolutely no need to worry about a ban. If you do sign in with cfw/hen, shoot even if you revert to OFW but leave homebrew/reactpsn activated psn games installed you can and probably can rest assured a ban is coming.

Added note: a ban is possible even if you don't do anything with psn but remain logged in, since the actual login proceedure includes checks from $ony as it also verifys your account credentials. If you wish to utilize psn at all period it would be a good idea to look into acquiring a PSID/cid pair to spoof your consoles real IDs. Don't ask where to get these or how to spoof they will not be provided and if you choose that route the IDs must be valid pair, mixing one consoles psid and another's cid will not work and you will receive an immediate ban.
