PS2 (WIP) XtremeEliteBoot+ (a powerful alternative for FMCB)

We take that quick video on his house showing the language emulation (a public known function) and the XEB+ interface. Also, I take some pictures of the content inside the Memory Card (see it at the end of the video). In the video, we used an old special BETA:eagerness:. The BETA he installed on my MC is quite different in some functions and is slightly bigger (120kb more):beguiled:. All the pictures and videos are from the special BETA, not the one he installed in my Memory Card.

He made me edit the video on his computer as he wanted to censor a specific XEB+ screen showing something "not public at this time".:lock:

The XEB+ BETA pack contains:
PS2: XEB+ (he installed it right in my Memory Card and did not give me any installer)
PC: UsbInstaller (for PS2 game installation), PSXtreme Game Installer, PS2SX, and a toolkit (he requested to not share more info about this toolkit).

I will take some time when I get back at home to take more pictures and show more about the content (I just hope I do not show anything private at the time). Also I have some things to test...:welcoming:

I asked about why he did not appeared online and he told me it was due to "doctor's recommendations" and he was feeling the foot kinda itchy after long walks. He guess he will be back online soon as he is feelling very well latelly, but he will not give any other date to avoid failing again.

For now, any one in Cuba that wanna be a BETA tester can go to his address (yes, he said I can make it public) Ruíz #766 e/ Minerva y Mercedes, Cárdenas, Matanzas and get a BETA. His phone number is +53 54175062. He also leave the contact data inside the XEB+ BETA and a message saying that if you wanna be a tester, you just need to visit him.

I forgot to say something:
@MALK, @HWNJ never said something about XEB in SceneSpain.net or to any of the users or staff of that website. I asked him about it. Stop beign the "Pain" of the forum, please. Double check your intel and ask them for proofs.
If you need so tell him something or ask him something about XEB+ or his health, just give him a call. His phone number is public. You never need me (or any other Cuban) to contact him. You was able all this time to give him a phone call.

I'm excited to hear news of the Project however what I don't understand is Translators were already registered for a Beta, as well other people via PS2 CID including myself. So why is there now a Private beta to locals only? Instead of one for Registed CID users/Translators.
 
first i will start with an apology for @HWNJ (and not anybody else) because i was an annoying funky afro dancing in the club when i was constantly doubting the project in an annoying way (i had the right to do tho) and ranting like a douch about his slow speed of progress (which i didnt mean he owes me any thing i was only saying this stuff in a criticizing matter).
now that we have a proof we can believe that there is some thing amazing and fresh (iam not as crazy as saying this is edited btw).
if i wasnt asking questions every once in a while you guys wouldnt have had a proof by now all the credit goes to @ElSinGao because she did the right thing (instead of being a whiny baby like me) after all nobody can say i was wrong when i question and doubt some stuff i would respect that you would say you didnt agree with my methods but to say iam completly wrong when i obviously am right is just bullcrap.
i matured and lost the annoying energy and that is too bad you wont be seeing me ranting anymore.
lets stop the drama any way the dust have settled the sun has risen and the truth has been said lets not be annoying and flip the page.
and my grammar is shit i know but i think its readable ....

Would like to know this as well. I've been helping with translations too and have been waiting for a long time.

No rush though, I'm glad the project is alive. @HWNJ get well soon!

Your attempts to try to get some progress info by annoying and creating chaos here, by email, and probably in other forums was WRONG and DID NOT WORK
Stop insisting in this, it was a crazy and a irrespectful idea, assume it and move on

Yes, he did once ask me for some API help regarding some console ID function. I think it was sceCdRI(), which is used to obtain the i.Link ID of the PS2. It probably has no place in a piece of software like FMCB, so it may have been intended for use in rights management, for the beta test.

I think that fact alone cannot be an indicator of whether he built a real project like XEB+ or not. The video uploaded is certainly more relevant.

He told me it was something "special" you will understand and no other here will as that function is only on his SDK.
That it will prove I talked to the real @HWNJ.

That's why I wrote what I wrote. I am not sure why it's special to him.

But if he really asked (and I just forgot) about sceCdWriteNVM() and not sceCdRI(), then it would be a function for updating the EEPROM of the console. I still don't exactly know what that is used for here, since we usually use sceCdOpenConfig() & sceCdWriteConfig() etc to update the browser settings.
sceCdWriteNVM() cannot write to some EEPROM regions on the SCPH-50000 and later, as part of a security measure. So it may not be usable to update the browser settings. Either way, I think it is an unusal method for doing that.

@sp193 it should be a misstype of mine, I typed in my phone what he showed me on his PC and wrote scecdwritenvm here but it is sceCdWriteNVM() in lowercase and without ()
