Well the proff is that Sony stopped fmcb from working in new models like scph-9000x
That's no proof at all. Just because they blocked it, it doesn't make it illegal.
Actually it is proof of the contrary!!!
If it were illegal, they/Sony would have taken legal consequences/actions against it within the last decade, just as they did with Modchips, sueing PS3-Hackers (even those who did something legal, like Graf Chokolo), DMCA-Takedowns for example PS3MCA and so on.
The DMCA-Takedown of PS3MCA is actually proof of your claim being false... They specifically only claimed the KELF-Gen-Algo-V2 - which includes their MG-Keys - to be illegal, but NOTHING from FMCB!
THAT'S PROOF right there, that your claim is false...!
that means Sony do not want people to install any hack because it allows piracy of games
That's one but not the only reason. They want to keep control about their ecosystems, which they intend to be closed.
if it was legal and allowed why did Sony block it in new models
Because they want to keep control over their ecosystem(s), which they intend to keep closed for that very same reason.
That doesn't make FMCB illegal... In fact, they probably would have (had) left it in, if they had any other way of getting ahold of it/FMCB via jurisdiction...
well if all what fmcb did is grab Memento change a logo and then add something on it then yea it is a clone
According to your very own definition I QUOTED, if a tool has a bootlogo and a custom GUI (+boots), it would be a clone... FMCB/FHDB matches this definition, especially compared to Memento... But in my opinion, it is MUCH more than just a clone!
Sorry i was talking in general not about the qoute i write in a weird fashion
Indeed...
@kozarovv's picture is matching? ^^
well its quite silly to think about it this way
No... It is called LOGIC and thinking this way is 'logical (thinking)'!
Sony blocked it for a reason which is that it can be used to play pirated games
- FMCB/FHDB itself does NOT support, what you claim here... Additional Software like OPL might be able to do that.
- Even if it would support that directly, that doesn't make it illegal 'from the start'. That's very much country-dependent.
- FMCB was MADE TO BE LEGAL (and comply/-ies to multiple international and national laws)!
@kozarovv i saw what you did there lol
Bright mind?
Edit: That whole off-topic does not even relate to what I wrote... I wrote IMO SP193 is legally the owner... That has nothing to do with FMCB/FHDB being legal or not...
