Okay, I am new to PSX-Place for the first time till I got a problem with the game for my PS3 HEN.
First, I had to watch a clip about fixing black screen on Multiman, where I enabled BD Mirror and Internal -- then it goes back to XMB meaning the game is mounted ready to play, and suddenly, it just goes black screen, no sound was heard, no nothing after struggling with PS3 games being installed, just a black screen. There are two Wolfenstein games, which is the ISO file and the second is the extracted folder of the image file just because of BD Mirror and Internal had to be enabled according to the 10-year-old video.
So, for the ISO part, if I press the X button to start, it reveals me an error message:
This operation is not allowed.
ISO TYPE: 32
ISO PATH (I):[/dev_hdd0/PS3ISO/Wolfenstein (USA) (En, Fr).iso]
ISO PATH (O):[/dev_hdd0/PS3ISO/Wolfenstein (USA) (En, Fr).iso]
ISO SEGS: 1
ERROR: ENCRYPTED/INVALID ISO
And I clearly don't understand why does it think it's encrypted or saying invalid file to play, so, however, if I click the extracted ISO of the game, you know it goes back to original home screen and again, gets black screen after I opened it. Here's what I tried:
-Connected to the internet, making sure the update has to be checked until it already updated the game (which I did that yesterday)
-Had to delete the ISO and the extracted files, trying it again, still the same issue
-Watched other YouTube videos, some have the same solution, some don't have the same solution, sadly never solved the issue
