PS3 Would Sony try to patch PS3 exploits in the future ?

Since the PS3 is still getting updates in 2025,I was wondering if someday Sony decides to release an update and patch all exploits that the system is vulnerable to, so is it technically possible and should we fear such a threat or Sony doesn't care anymore?

It's not like sony didn't tried...
if my memory serves me right some exploits are unpatchable, I mean they eventually did with hardware revisions but some new exploits were found.
Nowadays sony probably doens't care THAT much, eventually the effect may be the opposite, sony may stop investing the already minimum time and money they do on it and if there are developers still working on ps3 some new things might be found, if you look at the psp it is a very good example; things before thought impossible were actually made, like full cfw implementation before only possible in 1000 and some 2000 models are now available on all systems

They don't care anymore, if they did, they would have patched the ps3 kernel long ago, they would have made the HEN exploits all obsolete as soon as HEN appeared...
The funny thing is, the exact same vulnerabilities used in HEN were fixed on Vita years before they were actually used on the PS3 so they knew about those ever since the Vita got patched and did nothing about it..
