XMB Game Tree for HAN - place your games on console to catalogues

When I try to load the "metadata_db_hdd" I take this error :
Can not extact PARAM.SFO from package file

How can i add my games from my ps3 to your program? (I have a copy of metadata_db_hdd)
I must import manualy one by one ?
 
this could be useful, especially when it comes to albums, which are recorded in that file but are reset when you rebuild the database. I have the vita and ps4 equivalent, the app.db, on my laptop. I did try to see what would happen with sq lite and the metadata file, but it was unreadable.
 
Hey! It seems to work great but every time I try to create the package it says something about not having ICON0.PNG and PARAM.SFO, resulting in it failing. Any help would be great! Thanks in advance.

Is you have spaces in path to folder?
ICON0.PNG and PARAM.SFO placed in 'tools' subfolder.

We need this kind of tool specially when you need to rebuild your database and you have to re-categorize 100+ games in each genre (FPS, Sports, RPG, Action, etc).

Does it work on non HAN consoles, I mean also on CFW?
 
yes, I don't have a current metadata file, but I did backup my app.db for my vita and pstv. when I rebuilt the database, over 100 games populated the home screen. you can fix this by dropping games into folders which the system will then populate more content. replacing the app.db fixes everything. I highly recommend backing up this files especially if you have a lot of stuff

I dont have CFW, but if it can integrate link to created xml file in one of XMB config files, like HAN does, that will worked.
I just developed this way to abandon the standard mechanism of albums because of their inconvenience.
