    From what i have seen, the best method of removal is the chisel method by ripfelix. Its the most cleanest, with no excessive heat.

    Pins shape was a straight bar with become smaller at the top. As opposed to normal bar shapped pins on the oem drive. And it was a little thinner also, the drive i mean. It was a Wd blue hdd.

    So i just got a new bc ps3 cecha00. Turns out its a rare sony refubished 40nm rsx console. Im installing CFW on it. But when i dumped the flash. I checked it with pyps3 checker. And it came with 1 warning. And it also says its a refubished console. Should i proceed with CFW? Cant upload file...
