    PS2 PSXiSO Compression Tool (CHD/ZSO/CSO)

This is great and works well for me. Just one issue I found using Windows 10: the "output as Filename.*" option doesn't seem to work. When the box is checked, it always produces a file called "PSXiSO.zso" and when unchecked it produces "NEW.ZSO". Thanks for the great tool!

    PS2 N64-Emulation on PS2 - a discussion about a possible structure + release (alpha/beta/test)!

I'm getting around 3 fps on SM64 (guessing by eye, as it was just a quick test). Can someone with a fat confirm the difference?

    PS2 N64-Emulation on PS2 - a discussion about a possible structure + release (alpha/beta/test)!

Thank you! I was using a sub folder, not root. I'm currently getting blank screens on both versions when I launch a rom, but will have a proper play later. Edit: I'm trying this on a SCPH-79000 slim. Having read through this thread, it looks like that's the issue.

    PS2 N64-Emulation on PS2 - a discussion about a possible structure + release (alpha/beta/test)!

Neither version is picking up any roms from my usb drive (directory structure is as shown). Any idea what I might be doing wrong? Is usb supported yet?

    PS2 Flicker filter

There has been a lot of work on this over here: https://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-No-interlacing-codes As you say, it needs a different approach for each game. Some of the codes in this thread work on real hardware (definitely Enthusia does), but many don't. I'd love to see more done on this, but...

    PS2 How to use USBUtil

I just used USBUtil's RIP iso function. You're right, quite a few games have large blank dummy files, which I believe are there to shift game data to the outside of the DVD so it can be read quicker. This is no longer useful when using the ISO on a hard drive, so it just wastes space. As I...

    PS2 How to use USBUtil

You can also use USBUtil to shrink DVD5 games to save disk space and, in one case i found, to speed up loading: http://www.ps2-home.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1511&start=20#p8037

Games that use other games saves to unlock extras?

In Lego star wars 2 you can unlock the characters from your Lego star wars 1 save.

    PS2 DNAS-net Patcher

I would be interested in playing the ToCA 3 online, but it looks like this is a special case. I also noticed when attempting to apply a cheat code as an ELF patch (which I have done may times with other games) it always makes TOCA 3 freeze, so it appears to have some sort of checksum check...

    PS2 Open PS2 Loader

But as I understand it, the SMB and USB code isn't loaded when you launch a game in HDD mode, so functionality is completely unaffected. Anyway, I am hugely grateful for the work the devs do and would ask you to consider how it may come across to them if you suggest that they are wasting effort...

    PS2 Open PS2 Loader

I agree. The whole purpose of OPL is to make the PS2 do something it was not designed specifically for. Allowing users to play games from SMB or USB opens up the PS2 to anyone with a fat or slim console, with or without a working DVD drive. The devs do their best to implement OPL in the way that...
