The easiest way to install HEN:

You will download 2 files (from official sources) for your specific firmware version and place them in the root folder of a USB drive. The drive must be using MBR and formatted to FAT32. After the files are on the USB drive, you will insert it into your PS3 and use my website to enable HEN. HEN will install itself from the USB drive. Lastly, you will remove the USB drive and reboot your PS3.

Click HERE to goto my site. Click on "Easiest HEN Install Method". It will tell you want to do.

Currently supporting HFW 4.93 and below

Good luck!

I put the update, the package, and the txt file into the root of the USB drive and renamed them. I went to the site on the PS3 and now it's stuck on a screen saying Enabling HEN.

Est-il possible de créer un modèle pour une utilisation hors ligne ?

Is it possible to create a template for offline use?

I think you can download MiXplorer (which is a great file explorer by it's own and I think everyone should use it lol) and use the built in HTTP server, then you can navigate to it in the PS3's web browser and locate the HTML file and open it.

Forget about that, just tried and it just downloads the file, so it's just a file server under an http server. I found some people suggesting using termux, here's a tutorial I haven't tried:

Hope this works

everythings back up now, but if anybody wants to test...

this is a 4.92 only version of the alternate installer. maybe it will work for the people who had problems with it recently.
