PS3 3013/2021 After reball/replacement of RSX

Hi experts,

I was wondering if anyone came up on any of these issues before. Recently I took on a little experiment on some cecha boards that I was gifted to see if I could get any life on. All of the units' syscons were read and they all came up with various 3034/1002/1001 errors. I had a bunch of really good RSX replacements I was able to order online (I know they work because I tested a couple when repairing CECHE's) Anyway after removing about 4 on my BGA machine and replacing them with the replacement RSX they ALL have a new SYSCON error of 3013 and repeated 2120 errors......I took off one of those chips/reballed it and put in on a CECHE and it worked perfectly!. Has anyone come up against something like this before? Below is an example of one of the syscon readouts. The first 4 rows show the errors if you try to boot without the RSX attached (I wanted to see if the errors changed)

Yes they are legit. I actually removed one of them. Reballed it and installed in on a CECHE that i knew worked and it operated just fine.

No, I use this one vendor on aliexpress Ive had really good success rates with

Maybe a short was created while reballing the RSX?
3013 is mostly a CPU not communicating to SYSCON and 2021 is HDMI problem i believe.
Try checking for shorts first and then try reballing again if you dont find anything. Maybe the specific RSX is not compatible with your CECHA's and as a result they dont communicate with the CELL

Yea I checked for those things....I verify by microscope that all the pads/traces are ok before placement and all the chips are CXD2971DGB and the chips they are replacing are also the same part#/revision
