Following that recent surprise Official Firmware Update of v4.76 that brought nothing new. Developer Alexander began working on his latest CFW and the developer has released 4.76 FERROX CFW (CEX). is this a real CFW 4.76 or a CFW 4.75 with a spoof 4.76 ?

i'm asking because multiman can run games with this CFW (and usully it doesn't) and if you go to system info into multiman you will se PS3 Firmware 4.75 not 4.76... just asking here

 

Is real 4.76, but sony made so small changes that backup managers work on 4.75 "setting". Devs just don't update apps to change one digit from 5 to 6.

This is real 4.76 cfw, the reason multiman works is because sony did not really change anything except the version number.

Then are you saying ccapi works on this 4.76 cfw???

 

I'm using the latest Mamba/Prx loader with habib's 4.75 non-cobra cfw, for loading my .iso games through webman. Would this CFW work fine with it? Would i need to install mamba again, or only the cfw?
