I'm liking Ferrox 1.01+ a lot at the moment. Best of the bunch that I've tried and no ugly graphic mods. (Although they are optional if you're into that kind of thing.)So many 4.81 cobra cfw this time that i dont even know to wich one ill update, just want the cleanest possible cobra with support for launchpad![]()
You want my advice? Don't update...So many 4.81 cobra cfw this time that i dont even know to wich one ill update, just want the cleanest possible cobra with support for launchpad![]()

There's absolutely nothing new in 4.81...except a certificate which so far does not seem to make a difference.
Wait for for a Cobra release from habib if you don't use Rebug then there will be a good reason to update.
In the meantime use SEN Enabler 6.0.3 once to spoof fw version then you can connect to PSN as usual using psnpatch or SEN plugin.
Anyway if you are really desperate to update for whatever reason, I suggest you install Cobra Ferrox 1.01+ as most 4.81 CFW including Ferrox were released with bugs at first. Few have been updated but Ferrox already has. To mount games, use Irisman 4.81 or webMAN-MOD 1.45.02 which have been updated for 4.81. For other backup managers, you will need to wait.
The colour mods are a separate pkg now in the latest version of Ferrox. Note I have not released a version of Launchpad for Ferrox v1.01. I'm waiting to see if it gets updated to v1.02, (possibly a small bug with reading pkgs off SD cards, not sure though) and I'm also waiting to see if the other firmwares get new releases too so I can include them in the installer. If I release a new installer every time a new firmware comes out it will just get confusing for people, so I will leave it a few weeks or more until all the bugs are ironed out and all the 4.81 FWs released.just want the cleanest possible cobra with support for launchpad
I like my cfw up to date and version spoofers are not for me, as for rebug is a great cfw but also not for me, don't see a cfw from habib for some time, think it is with rebug team but i might be wrong, someone correct me.
I have been using ferrox cobra cfw for some time it is great but i don't like the changes in xmb or the color changes when we press the PS button, also the homebrew store on xmb, don't know if this one still as those, if yes then i think ill go for darknet this time.
ty for ur input
As for the bug of 'SD, I would not know. I have to check. It will be the standalone package manager to have this problem?
I have to get more feedback for that ..

Hmm, I think that I installed something from SD in 4.80. For sure i didn't checked this in 4.81.Yeah, looks like this is not a bug related to Ferrox at all. This "bug" even exists in official Firmware.
There are no pkg paths added for dev_sd and dev_cf even in the official category_game_tool2.xml from 4.81, surprised no one has noticed until now..
I don't think so, Im looking at the Rebug 4.80.1 xmls too. Unless dev_ms redirects to dev_sd or something weird like that. Can you test now with SD on whatever FW you are on.Hmm, I think that I installed something from SD in 4.80. For sure i didn't checked this in 4.81.

Not that I know of...Anything from the DEX system?
