    UPDATE v1.01 & v1.01+

After considering the reports of some users, alexander updated version 1.01. Console on some fact was not syncing the controller to 'start, if you turn on the console via the Wireless Controller in the same mode. In fact, using the cable, or turning on with POWER button, the problem would not show up. Well, the problem was solved. This problem had previously seen on some firmware. The problem was in the TAR. On the advice of Developer Habib, and Evilnat collaboration, here we give the revision 1.01+

    CHANGELOG v1.01 +
    • Fixed the Controller to sync Boot via the Wireless Controller for PS button.
    • Fixed XMB InGame.

We thank the users and developer who helped Test. If you aiutassimo more often at each other in the PS3 scene, between Developer and Tester, it would be a different story. Special thanks to Atreyu and Kozárov by PSX-Place site, for testing on older FAT Console. A big thank you also to our @mizio90 for the 'Installer. It must be said that the new version of the CFW was ready already for a while, but I did make late because of the 'Installer

This toggle app just renames the Cobra stage2 file for users who prefer not to do it manually.
You can use this app on any Cobra CFW that uses the "supposedly standard" /dev_flash/sys as the folder containing the stage2.bin Cobra file.
If stage2.bin isn't located in /dev_flash/sys, this toggle app will not work.

FYI, a number of cfw makers, especially in the past, chose to create a different folder for the Cobra files instead of using /dev_flash/sys. Some even used their own name for the folder! A ridiculous practice by guys with big egos... [emoji3]
pretty cool this tool. Renames the file, she prevents changes in system, and I thought that the modification could be greater. So if I disable the Cobra, I can install the Mamba? Or it doesn't work that way. I just wanted to understand the logic :flustered:

Yes disabling Cobra is that simple... Just rename the stage2.bin file to stage2.bin.bak or stage2.bak. Reboot & Cobra is disabled.
Same method in Rebug actually.
Remember you need to enable /dev_blind to rename the file as /dev_flash is read-only. [emoji6]

Regarding mamba you are correct. Once Cobra is disabled you are free to load mamba & even install the mamba auto loader...
Whenever you want Cobra back, uninstall the auto loader if you installed one then rename the stage2.bin correctly & reboot. Voilà...

Thanks for clarifying my doubts friend. For the Mamba be uninstalled still need to tighten the square? I always got confused, I never know when it is uninstalled. It would be nice somebody someday create one pop up showing that Mamba was loaded, just like the VSH Menu or webMAN.

Well in practice there are many ways to check if Mamba is loaded...

You can test something that can't work without Cobra or Mamba... Try mounting an iso with webMAN-MOD for instance...

Another option is to launch multiman, if it starts as mmCM then mamba is loaded.

If you use psnpatch or SEN Enabler, you can get the info about the current mamba/cobra situation.

.....

Btw remember you can also toggle Cobra with the webMAN-MOD combo
L3+L2+/\ if enabled in wMM setup page.

As Cobra is enabled using theMamba, if I want to play online, should I use Sen Enabler or PSN Patch to disable lite Cobra? I did not know that I could temporarily disable the Mamba from memory using the shortcut of wM.

You mean disabling cfw syscalls not disabling Cobra/Mamba right? I prefer to use psnpatch because of its tight integration with wMM. SEN would do the trick also.

The wMM combo does not unload Cobra from memory, it renames the stage2.bin file like habib's app.

Badly custom of speaking that disables the Cobra,I need to read more about the differences of these terms.
I mean disable Syscalls.I do not like very of Sen, it has already brought me many problems :blackeye:
I've always liked the PSN Patch.
I have nothing Against Sen Enabler, I just did not got used to him :confusion:

Sen enabler is a great & powerful tool. It offers many interesting features including some features that are exclusive to the app.
However it's a bit too complicated for many users & unnecessary for the simple job of deleting history, removing syscalls..

one issue (bug) I've encountered with sen enabler, despite using it exclusively, is that it doesn't replace the category_game.xml file back, so when u select ofw mode, u have to reselect cfw mode to get app_home and package installer back. also, if u've alphabetized ur dlc/game updates section, it will be replaced by a normal category_game.xml. that along with the low battery kicking u out of the app r its main issues. I've encountered no other problems with it.

Are we talking about the same message concerning webMAN-MOD here?
Can you explain exactly how you get this Bad Request message in the web browser? What is the url?

Also can you just try connecting to PSN? No need to mount a game, just trigger psnpatch or SEN Enabler then login to PSN & visit the Store or your trophies whatever...
Is it working?
If yes, reboot.
Mount a game with wMM.
Trigger SEN or psnpatch.
Connect to PSN.
Launch your game & try to play online..
Is this working?
Not being able to access psn or play online, the only way is to deactivate the webman L3 + R2 + R3, then it works normal

Not sure if we are talking about the same issue, but I have noticed that same error when entering the Launchpad sometimes, normally when the icons don't exist at the path it is checking. In that case the error appears once for each icon it checks, so if you have a lot of games the error will keep appearing for a while, but of course there could be other reasons that it would show up.

Unsure if related at all...but I noticed after a fresh cfw install (think it was on overflow v5 cobra) with psn patch and latest webman (11 commits past .02 roughly) I was getting a lot of "Bad Requests" in webmanmod using the file explorer in the games directory while it was trying to pull up cover images while scrolling the list.

Didn't have launchpad installed.

Sorted itself out after a while, but never seen that before.
I have all my own covers saved as the same name as my .iso files if it matters.

Open multiman or IRISMAN or any other file browser, and check that you have psnpatch.sprx file in root of dev_hdd0.

HELLO EVERYONE
First off I would like to thank each and every DEVELOPER that posts here I have learned everything from here and there but mostly HERE !!!!

So I'm just going to jump right to my problem
I have installed 4.81 FERROX COBRA (7.3) WORKS GREAT SO FAR BTW
Then installed Multiman 4.80 and instantly became mmcm SO FAR SO GOOD
Installed SEN Enabler v6.0.3 [CEX-DEX] [4.81] THE NEWEST ONE I CAN FIND

SO NOW COMES THE PROBLEM SOON
I am trying to play GTA5 ONLINE so I mount game with mmcm run SEN Enabler v6.0.3 [CEX-DEX] [4.81]
then I sign in to PSN and start the game

NOW HERE IS THE PROBLEM
game only loads story mode and when I try to go to online from story I get this message

LOL AS I GO THROUGH THE STEPS AND TYPE ALL GOES GOOD I AM ONLINE AND READY TO PLAY GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE AND HAPPY GAMING

You're better off using PSNpatch for cobra. I've been using this for a few years & all is good.

I also prefer using the psnpatch plugin for regularly going online & I keep the more powerful SEN Enabler for fw spoofing & other more complex situations.
However the SEN plugin does the same job as psnpatch really. If the user is currently happy & comfortable with SEN, he does not really need to change his ways... [emoji5]️

As you said matter if choice. I feel SEN Enabler to be a bit of an over kill and enjoy PSN Patch but both are about the same. That's the point we have choices and aren't forced

Also for info, psnpatch does not require Cobra at all... The plugin will work fine with Mamba too and can also be loaded with prx autoloader....

I never felt the love for sen enabler as it didn't support cobra (no offense to the developer) I just stuck with psnpatch & with the plugin to disable syscalls, etc. That sealed the deal for me :)
