PS3 4.82 FERROX COBRA 7.53 Custom Firmware v1.00

@Alexander Thank you my dear, for the new firmware, will I be able to run the Parasite Eve The 3rd Birthday? I really like Ferrox and I do not intend to change it for anything, it would be a dream if the ps2 games are on the External Hd, maybe someday they will not.

Currently there is no support for external hdd. For Parasite eve, we tested the ISO in 1.00 and it worked properly. (European version). What version are you using?

I tested the US version, this may be the problem, I'm going to do a test with the European version, thank you very much for the tip, my dear, and always success.
 
@Alexander I tested the European version of Parasite Eve The 3rd Birthday, there was the same error that happened in the US version, I also tested with the latest CFW 4.82 v1.01 snake 7.55, and the error continues, I'm using it like this: PS3 Slim 120GB version USA, FERROX 4.82 v1.01 COBRA 7.55, Ultimate Version of Multiman, PSP Game in ISO in PSPISO folder, By external HD, using PSP Launcher and PSP Launcher Remaster getting the same result.

In all my tests I use full ISOS, to be able to get the best result, I even thought about being the PSP Launcher 2.00, but to avoid this doubt, test with the original PSP Launcher 2.00 and PSP Launcher 2.00 remaster.
 
anyone know what I can use to spoof a game into thinking im signed into psn? (did all the things saying how to limit the possibility of a ban for using the cfw stuff, still ended up getting banned...oh well)

I think so. I've never personally set it up since I don't care about playing online. it's available to jtag/rgh players on the 360, and signing into xbl means instant ban, so I assume the same is true for psn.
 
well apparently my account wasnt actually banned. Did an internet test via ps3 and got "8002A231" back as an error code. Looked that code up on their support and it said "8002A231: Your PlayStation®Network account has been suspended." So maybe there is a chance I can get my account back lol

Hmmm... Am afraid it's still a ban situation nonetheless... Try signing up for a new account & use it to connect to PSN.
If you can't connect then your idps is probably banned as well..

Im actually gonna try to get my account back first If I can... cause there has to be a first time offense appeal process or something along those lines. (makes you wonder if they really do have a ZERO Tolerance policy or some shit lol)
 
What's the best way to upgrade to larger drive without have g to reinstall everything on my current drive?

If I have to reinstall everything after I install a new drive, do I need to have the CFW PUP file on a USB to set up the new drive?

Im currently on hold with playstation gamer support lol

apparently they banned my console as well...

Now I guess ill need ya'lls advice on how to unban my console or atleast make it seem like its not the same console cause I got them to put in a thing to get my email removed from the banned account

Ok so how do I go about changing my console id and making my psid match it?

Use the psnpatch plugin (or SEN plugin) to spoof a spare set of ids. Spoofing can be applied either automatically on boot or on plugin trigger before PSN connection.
IMO spoofing at boot is probably easier especially as any psn content installed with a spoofed idps will require that same idps to be used to run that content.

Instructions on how to use the psnpatch.cfg file are included in the psnpatch release notes. Check the forum resources section or store.brewology.com.

use the backup utility, but first, transfer over dev_hdd0/home (this has your saves, trophies, and licenses). I don't believe trophies are copied. then, run the backup utility. you'll need an hdd larger than the one you're using, but iirc, it only needs to be larger than the used space on the drive you plan to copy. I've done this once before with a 750GB hdd. this may only be true for NOR consoles, which have a virtual flash on the hdd, but you'll need to reinstall the exact firmware you're on.
