PS3 4.82 Overflow cfw collection

it seems that you're not using integrated wemban.use integrated one.
Honestly I'm lost to all of this... I' using the webman that came on the v05 cobra nobd.. is the integrated one a different thing and also the message in the pictures pop up when I opened rebug tool box

Here's the deal. My Blu-ray drive is completely shot and I want a cfw that supports the nobd patch. The game I have downloaded isn't coming up in the webman but It was showing on the multiman which I had on a previous cfw but that old cfw didn't have the apps_ home ps3 option so the game image wouldn't pop up. So now I was recommended to the cobra but when I open webman I don't see the game showing up.

i didn't tested games as game folder in GAMES folder and integrated webman,so i can't comment on that, but ISO's works 100 percent.so if i were you i would convert it with irisman/multiman to ISO.you don't need rebug toolbox for that.

sorry, piracy is not supported on forum.also, mostly i play rips of my own discs because i currently only have ps3 with broken blueray drive.i know is tedious to convert them, but trust me,it's the best way.

flashing cfw on top of other cfw without cleaning could and will cause lot of issues (i've experienced them myself),especially with webman.

it's always good idea and a safe bet to do full restore from recovery after flashing, and to fully clean previous webman installs i've found that reflashing cfw is the way to go.

so to recap,do a full restore, reflash overflow v5 noBD,do again full restore from recovery and use integrated webman.then,if it's not working,it's because you have bad backups/rips.

are you sure your blueray isn't working properly?
Hello and thanks for all the info. I have a question.

If I install "Overflow 4.82 v2 Dual Boot", I could go at any time and do "System Update" with my "4.82 FERROX - COBRA v7.53" PUP and then return to my current CFW?

You said "flashing cfw on top of other cfw without cleaning could and will cause lot of issues". If I do what I said above will I have to do a full restore? (I have some games from psnnetwork and I don't want to lose them)

i didn't test that, because i don't see the point of having two cfw's at the same time.you don't have to do full restore, but for example webman could get some issues (i had them myself) and also other homebrew when installing them or other cfw with integrated homebrew on top of one another without cleaning first.

My English aren't the best. I don't want to swap cfw all the time. I just am not sure about what will happen when I'll go to "Overflow 4.82 v2 Dual Boot". I don't want to do something and regret it right after.

Now I have the "4.82 FERROX - COBRA v7.53" and I am happy. The problem is that my 5-year-old son want to play little big planet with the extra levels. So, it's not necessary to go to DB, but if it won't ruin anything I would be happy to do it.

You said "having two cfw's at the same time", I think you mean that Overflow and Ferrox are two different cfw's. If I swap between "Overflow 4.82 v2 Dual Boot" and "Overflow_4.82_v4_cobraCEX", is this count as one cfw? And is it a better option or is it the only option?

dual boot is as close to ofw as you can get without being locked out. I guess that's not a problem anymore. lol. you can't use any of the cfw stuff (only disc games and they require the disc). however, you can install cfw if you'd like from it. it's pretty much to prevent bannings..

So, I will go to "Overflow 4.82 v2 Dual Boot" and every time I want to use the multiman I will use my flash with the "4.82 FERROX - COBRA v7.53" PUP! This is exactly what I want.

Even in case I'll have some issues with multiman, as umart666 said, I think it's worth it.

yes

I see big discussion about "dual boot" version here ;)
If I'm right, the easiest way to have dual boot and switch between OFW and CFW is E3 nor flasher + eSATA station + two HDDs
however to play online I bought second console (slim 120gb, no leads, no controllers) 30 pounds,
jailbroken one I use for "education" ;), retroarch, play DLCs and .pkg games
