I'll just finishing hosting the exploit to test it with 4.87 HEN

I installed it, it works fine here. But there is no HEN for 4.88 yet, so you should wait a few days before updating really.

You won't be able to install the HEN via PS3XPLOIT.

You can test it with the old 3.0.2 but you need to host the exploit and edit the HEN enabler ( game_category.xml) inside the PKG to work with 4.88. ( replace "4.87"===fwv to "4.88"===fwv)

Note: Unexpected errors could occur,

Good to know. webMAN MOD and IRISMAN should work without changes.

NOTE: IRISMAN 4.87.1 already includes MAMBA 8.4 for 4.88

If I were you I would wait before using PSN on a firmware older than the current OFW version.
Afaik nobody posted about the extent of the 4.88 changes, there is always the possibility that changes were made in PSN authentication code as was apparently the case with ofw 4.87.
Consequently, you should never use any kind of spoofing or proxying to connect to PSN from your older CFW until you know it is perfectly safe. Unless you don't care about getting banned of course...
