PS2 A way to restore space using FHDB after delete game partition

Hi! Is it possible to reorganize the game partitions after delete them in OPL so I can retrieve that empty space as available? Or if i delete a game partition do i need to rebuild all again to make that space available again?

No, because it is impossible to delete a partition. It is how APA was designed - as chain of chunks. If you break or remove one of link in the middle, the rest become visible as free space from that point. "Deleted" partitions are renamed and hiding, possible for reuse in future but I dunno if current homebrew libraries allows that. Reorganizing is technically possible via defragmenting APA but I'm not sure if anyone made that (try HDDChecker and his Optimize option).

WinHIIP defragments, but it comes with a big con: WinHIIP does a lot of damage to the APA...
