PS2 Adding OPL Version to FMCB Card

Im trying to run a PS2 iso game (Knight Rider) stored on an MX4SIO SD card, My FMCB Card has OPL v0.9.3 installed as originally supplied by the Manufacturer (Kaico).
From what I can read on the net, I need OPNPS2LD-v1.1.0-Beta-1629-e20f2ee-bdm3.ELF, as My PS2 is an unmodded Slim 75002 version.
I have a verison of that ELF file but for some reason it wont COPY/PASTE onto my Kaico FMCB card, stating "PASTE FAILED". I Have another FMCB card that allows the ELF to be pasted and renamed, but when the console is booted and the new OPL v1.1.0 is selected the OPL Splash screen shows but then freezes.
The SD Mem card I am using is a PNY elite-X SDXC 128gb formatted Fat32.
Cany anyone offer any advice on (1) why the OPL elf wont paste onto my Kaiko FMCB card and (2) why OPL when I can run it, freezes.
 
Great advice, thanks for the response, I have now got the OPL version you suggested on my FMCB Card, and OPL opens but doesnt recognise my MX4SIO/SD Card. Does the ISO file need to be in a folder structure rather than simply on SD card itself ?
 
I have no experience with MX4Sio but I would imagine that it must be the same as a USB device.
First make sure you have it enabled in the OPL options.

The "iso" games must go inside their corresponding folder, one with the name "DVD" and another with the name "CD" depending on the size of the disc, these folders are created automatically by OPL once it recognizes your device.

Have done all the above suggestions and ave come to the conclusion that its the versions of my Slim PS2's thats to blame (both 7xxxx), USB works perfectly. I have yet to prove my theory by using my PS2 Fat so will let you know. Thanks again for the advice!!!

You can also try the beta versions of OPL and verify the permissions of your "SD" card that the "deny write" option is disabled.
