PS3 Aldostools Rolls Out webMAN Mod 1.41.09

UPDATE: Due to recent issues with webMAN Mod, developer Aldostools has reverted back to version 1.41.05. Please be sure to revert back to this version to avoid any issues.[break][/break]

I was not joking last time when I said to keep an eye on this one because in true fashion here is yet another useful update to webMAN Mod. Developer Aldostools has release version 1.41.09 and with it an abundant list of changes. These include a few fixes and tweaks, so check out the changelog will you.

Changelog 1.41.05:
 • Added support to mount .MSF .IMG .BIN files for PSX/PS2
 • (they will be mounted properly if a .CUE is not needed)
 • Reverted file listing buffer to 512 bytes (to support longer file names)
 • Html code in file listing is now auto-simplified when the buffer size is exceeded.
 • If the file name is too long, the file entry will be ignored to avoid html errors.
 • Detection of iso in game use less strstr calls (thus a bit faster)
 • Display plugin edition on rebug editions
 • Avoid launch loop if autoboot is PS2
 • Improved display the icon displayed on html when a game is mounted
 • Swap PS2emus now backups the current emus on Rebug Toolbox
 • Various shortcut combos related to dev_flash are disabled by default on new installations (fool proof)
 • Fixed message "Game loaded successfully" when the game failed to mount.

What's the prepNTFS version are you using? you gotta refresh the XML if you use older prepNTFS.

The prepNTFS I used was 1.08 version downloaded from brewology

I use the same prepNTFS mod 1.08 version
Refresh xml and html nothing changed. All boxes are empty again!
And if i mark boxes and save them after a restart they are all blank again.

Please try with this build 1.41.10 (please redownload it if you downloaded it before)

Changes:
- Build 1.41.09 has issues with some users due a buffer was too small.
- Reverted a change in the html syntax of "checked" that caused bugs in PS3 browser.

Thanks to Joonie that helped me to find the cause of the issues. <- This guy is really awesome ;)

Nope still locking up my Habib 4.66 on upgrade (from 1.41.08 -> 1.41.10)

Edit: Let me run PSNPatch and remove all webman traces and try fresh.

Removing config file and deleting SPRX and bootplugins allows the system to boot. Boots normally to XMB now.
Now sitting at default settings -> attempting to reconfigure -> save and reboot -> Options are saved - but its locking up refreshing XML/HTML
After that reboot - it's back to freezing on boot.

It's almost like it's not parsing a setting in WMCONFIG properly. A non-existant WMCONFIG lets the system boot until you try any options.(

Still not working for me. Deleted wmconfig installed latest pkg, recheck boxes, rebooted, ran PrepNTFS and went back to settings and all boxes are empty still. Fan speed settings are still as I set them but boxes are unchecked. webMAN seems to be working right as all shortcuts work just all boxes are unchecked.

Am I the only one who's giving you guys false report? or my rex 4.66 cobra working too perfect?

4.66 Rebug!? =)

Hah no idea.

I've been behind and was using 1.41.06 and upgraded to 1.41.09. When doing that, system booted OK, but corruption as earlier in the thread and no saved checkboxes.

The newest .10v266 pkg hard locks the PS3 on boot if a wmconfig exists. (have to press power button to turn off - light flashes green/red till it turns off.)
If no WMCONFIG exists - system boots up to XMB. I can then open WM Setup and make changes. Save these changes and reboot -> system boots okay and appropriate checked boxes but NET doesn't show any games (LOCAL ONES DO). However choosing refresh HTML/XML will hard lock the system. The next reboot hard locks the system for good.

At that point I rebuild the system database (fixes the hard lock) and delete a 297kb file on the XMB as Corrupted Data and install Webman Mod 1.41.08 - this restores all functionality to how it was and works.

I have rolled back all the recent changes to 1.41.05.

So I guess that all the recent issues should be fixed now :) (So, please consider like 1.41.06 to 1.41.10 never existed)

Well 1.41.08 DID work and continues to right now. It's only the .09 and .10 commits that seem to have problems.

Hopefully I'm not coming off as offending. I love your work on webman mod :)

Actually, 1.41.08 works but just before the silent update done to it, so something in that update broke things =(

That's what I said.

There was no silent update. The release of this thread is 1.41.09 - which introduced a corruption in the setup module. He pushed 1.41.10 but it has similar issues. So use 1.41.08 or for now he rolled back to 1.41.05.

No, you're not offensive... indeed I appreciate all your feedback.

There were too many changes/revisions/re-revisions/fixes/etc. between 1.41.06 and 1.41.10, and they seem to cause too much problems. So I prefer to return to a more stable build.

Nop, I mean problems started with version 1.41.08, error started reporting from there, and from what I read, it was an update without log of version 1.41.08, the pkg initially released works, but it seems it was updated without log same version 1.41.08, and from there problems started, little sad because updates up to 1.41.09 seem to have made the ultimate webman, hopefully aldostools will re do them, he das an awwesome job

Hi Aldo,

We all really appreciate all of your hard work! It's unfortunate that you had to role back so far, I'd like to state for the record that 1.41.08 never gave me that interface bug. I really hope you'll try to reintroduce some of the newer features again, I found the ps3m_api interface to be pretty interesting and would really like to see it again in future builds.

Thanks for everything!

Anyone still have 1.41.08? Or could upload it? Worked great for me as well .09 and .10 is where I had troubles as well. Though the boxes weren't checked in those versions all functions seemed to still work regardless.
